I normally make it a rule to remain civil with my exs. However, there are 3 of them I cannot stand. The 1st one is probably the love of my life who I was engaged to at some point, but she decided that it was better to return to her ex that was abusive and quite frankly, half the man I am. C'est La Vie on that one I guess, but she really did a number on my confidence and sent me back into a shell. The other two were just pathetic in the way they approached things.

I do, however, concur that it can be difficult to get a text/call/email from an ex. No matter what stage of life your at it can throw you for an emotional loop.

When I found out I told her to go fuck herself. I didnt talk to her for 2 years after that and found out she had a daughter around 2 and thought to myself. FUCK what if its mine, well I got in contact with her to find out and it turned out it wasnt but she has been emailing, texting, and calling me since. That was a year ago. She still tells me she loves me and what not but I know I dont trust her so Im always like yeah yeah sure you do. Well she wants me to stop by and see her next week. I dont think its a good idea though.

Well I guess there is some truth to that with some of my ex's but its not always like that with me. A lot of my ex's are friends with some of my friends so I have to be civil. For example a recent x of mine is the best friend of my friend's fiancee. I am the best man in the wedding and she is the maid of honor. After not speaking for two years we started talking again just so there wouldnt be any awkwardness. Then of course we hooked up again and broke up again all within a few months. Im just going to be her "friend" till the wedding then adios!
