Everyone loves seeing their own team win, but what are the most entertaining teams you have ever seen, not counting the team you cheer for?

My top 5?

1. 1993 Phoenix Suns
2. 1987 LA Lakers
3. 2005 Phoenix Suns
4. 2010 LA Lakers (so far)
5. 1996 Seattle Supersonics

Used to really enjoy watchin the C-Webb and White Chocolate Kings, as well as the old Penny/Shaq Orlando team.

Didn't really hate O'Neal until he got to LA.

White Chocolate's Kings were a fun team even though I hated them.

Suns have been pretty fun this decade although I used to hate them too.

Spurs are a good break once in awhile from fun basketball.

Hawks are pretty fun to watch and Blazers too.

Liked most of the Sheed teams before the last couple of years.

2008-2009 Lakers
2006-2007 Warriors
2004-2005 Suns, until they started becoming ugly in the WCF.
1995-1996 Bulls

Just little nuances:

* the way Williams would walk up, toss it low to Webb and then saunter away from it to let Webb work. It was just classy looking.

* the way Adelman would display utter contempt for the refereeing without uttering a word.

* the way Christie would cross himself every two minutes. His heart was actually in it.

* the way Christie's wife would stalk him. I wanted her to give me a spanking and a hand release so f'ing bad.

* the way Turkoglu came to the line one nite on TnT and Ainge remarked: "look at the beak on this guy."

I know what you're talking about there.

Kings/Mavs were great games.

The old Kings teams and the 05 Suns both played a "fun to watch" brand of basketball. Coincidentally, those are two of the most hated teams of my lifetime (aside from the Celtics). But I can put my distaste for them aside and appreciate the aesthetically pleasing brand of basketball they played. I really can't even describe how much I hated those Kings teams. The suns too with Diantoni, Tim Thomas (with that stupid face thing) and Raja Bell. Fuck they made my blood boil.

I still have not hated a team as much as the Kings from those years.

My spur hate paled in comparison to these fuckers

+1

Ever since they got rid of both D'Antoni and Bell, I've actually had to put forth some effort to hate the Suns. It came so easily back when they were around.

Fuckers.

1996 Seattle Supersonics
1998-1999 New York Knicks (that playoff run from the 8th seed was lots of fun to watch)
2007 Golden State Warriors
1995 Orlando Magic
2006 Phoenix Suns (as much as it pains me to say it)

C-Webb Kings. Great ball movement. Intensity. A team that 'grew up from scratch'.
01-04 Pistons. Ferocious defense. Interesting scoring. Intensity. Amazing coaching, for the most part.
01-02 Celtics. A team that had guys who drive who chose to shoot 3's. And it sort of worked. Played great defense and played looking like they were having a lot of fun.
99' Spurs. Twin Towers + Mario Ellie = some fun ball to watch. Very unique.
97-98 Pacers. Reggie is always fun to watch, but him vs Jordan was classic. I loved Larry Birds' coaching as well. It was so satisfying to watch him manage a game.
Jailblazers. Sabonis was so much fun to watch, but those teams were stacked. Too bad they couldn't hold it together.

In no particular order:

2007 Warriors

1995 Magic with Penny and Shaq, I still remember in 1993 when Shaq broke the backboard

2001 76ers with The answer

The whole "Jail Blazers" era. Not because they where good or anything, it was just high entertainment.

1988 Detroit Pistons, I remember Laimbeer getting robbed on a phantom call at the end of game 6 against the Lakers. Game 7 was a close one too.

'92 Dream Team

When the Dream Team was about to play the Angola national team, during pre-game interviews the other USA players provided diplomatic, face saving comments about how they would play hard and felt strongly they would win. When Chuck was asked about Angola and the game, he replied: "They're in a lot of trouble."

Final score:
USA-116
Angola-48

In no particular order...

1.) 2000-01 76ers: AI was the man that year, and this team had a toughness and perseverance that carried it further than its sum talent dictated it should. Their Game 1 win over the Lake Show in the '01 Finals is still one of the best games I've ever seen.

2.) 1998-99 Kings: There were better Sacramento teams, but this one had Jason Williams in phenomenon mode and was a breath of fresh air in a pretty dull era for the NBA. They had that GREAT first-round series against the Jazz too.

3.) 1993-94 Sonics: Tons of talent and the Reign Man before he got fat and foul-prone. Loved their uniforms, their arena, Gary Payton, Big Smooth looking like he'd taken six bong rips before the game- I just thought this team was the shit.

4.) 2000-01 Lake Show: Not terribly exciting aesthetically- Kobe going one-on-one, dump it in to Shaq, kick to the shooters- but when this team quit screwing around and got focused, they were AWESOME. Men among boys.

5.) 1990-91 Warriors: Run TMC, baby.
