So my inlaws are always at the house. No problem! The kids love them and they are really cool people. The only time I have a problem is when the wine starts flowing. The mother in law starts getting loud and obnoxious and the ol' father in law thinks he is the smartest guy in the world.
Well most of the time I can handle this BBBUUUUUTTTTT tonight my father in law's dad decides to drive over here from Florida and that guy is 10 times worse than both of them combined. That old man thinks he knows everything and really makes himself at home. My wife and I hardly know the guy but he just comes in and starts going through stuff.
I know on here I get a little vulger but this dudes mouth is just out of hand. I have two kids running around here and they don't need to hear about him popping viagra and crap.

My baby girl's favorite word right now is bye and it cracks me up because she keeps walking up to him and saying "bye bye".

I just don't answer the door. Anybody who knows me knows that they need to call before they just pop over. So then, certain relatives began calling from my driveway :lol "Hey, I'm near your neighborhood (don't f*cking lie to me, people), mind if I stop in and drop something off?" So then I quit answering the phone when caller ID showed said relatives were calling on their cell phones. The number of unexpected drop-ins decreased dramatically.

I dont get it. If black people do not want to be referred as Blacks, Blackies, Negro's etc. etc.. They think that's not done and get mad.

Black people are even willing to go so far, that they have sued a candy company from Serbia to change the name of their mint candys, because it was 'racist' :lol . The candy was called Negro. Not in reference to black people, but they were called in reference to chimney cleaners who get black on their faces of the soot in the chimney. (cleaning of your throat with the mint candy) Negro or Nero is just a name for the colour black.

But they call white people, whiteys all the time. And that's supposed to be normal. It's a bit hypocritical isnt it?

These are your in-laws and so it is your SPOUSE'S responsibility to tell them that they are not allowed to talk that way in YOUR home in front of YOUR kids. Period.

I remember the day that I had finally had it, and my spouse would not do anything. I informed my then mother-in-law in no uncertain terms that my child was my child and not her child and that I would make the decisions as to what was best for him. Like all controlling bullies, she put her tail between her legs and went away when someone stood up to her. She never once tried to tell me what to do with my kid ever again.
