Ron Artest, Lamar Odom, Rasheed Wallace, & Kendrick Perkins are not All Stars. Ray Allen will be lucky to be an All Star this year. Andrew Bynum will be an All Star by default.

Lakers & Celtics are deep.

Lakers are playing well and are the best team in the NBA...better than every team right now.

So...what is the point of this thread? Spurs aren't the Lakers and never would be.

I dont believe that the Lakers are that deep actually.

Andrew Bynum will be an All Star by default.

By default, as in automatically? No, he's having a breakout season so far, and deserves to be in the All Star game.

I dont believe that the Lakers are that deep actually.

Agreed. Their strength lies in their dominant starting lineup:

Their bench is hardly spectacular though:

On a different note, it's disturbing to see the Spurs that far down on the list of the top starting lineups. Jefferson sure as fuck hasn't been pulling his weight.

That is true. I hear their bench may be the achilles heel but right now, with that line up, they are the cream of the crop in the NBA.

Ummm... do you realize the spurs also had 5 guys in the all star vote, of which only jefferson hasn't been one (but I don't believe perkins, odom, or bynum have either, and of those, only bynum will this year, mainly due to no centers out west lol)

I just came in to say... so what if they have 10 all stars? We will win it all, poor start or not.

This ^

However Perkins, Allen, Artest and Odom are not playing at an All-Star level or there's better talent at their position who most certainly would take the spot. I only see one Spurs player making the All-star team at this point. Which is Duncan of course...
