Saturday games. Not really used to them. I hope it's over fast, so I can watch Suh win the Heisman.

Debating if I should go tonight. We're getting hammered with a snow storm so I'm not sure if I want to drive in this mess.
I think we win tonight based on that joke of a 4th quarter in Staples. That plus the Lakers are on a b2b.

it just feels like kobe will go 9-28 boozer will get away with every push in the world and have 18 rebounds, and fisher will have 3 fouls by the second quarter. given that if the lakers are close in the 4th they win

Streak comes to an end here IMO. I thought that before Kobe broke his finger so that doesn't help. It's all good though, Lakers should win the other four games on this trip.

Today we find out if Kobe playing with a broken index finger is a good thing or a bad thing for the Lakers.

Like I've been saying, this is the game we lose. The streak comes to an end tonight and Kobe shoots like crap. Complacency from this long streak combined with Utahs peskiness at home is the perfect storm.

I don't think the Jazz even at home can handle LA unless both kobe and Gasol are ice cold. It's possible, but not likely.

The Jazz can beat anyone at home. I don't know what kind of Mormon magic they have in play there, but the Jazz turn into an All-Star team in SLC.

It's not magic. It's called getting away fouls. It's not a coincidence that there is such a disparity with their home and road record every year.

The refs know that since we love Jesus there's no way a player like Matt Harping would commit a foul or set an illegal screen on every single play.

Big game.
Jazz are coming off a big win over Orlando and will want retribution for the other night. Lakers will be on the back end of a B2B. This will test their mettle.

They showed him in the Utah broadcast and his eyes look a bit glazed over with a towel over his head.
And I heard that IV thing you did too, must have gotten sick.

They didn't compete tonite on the defensive end. They had some fun going down low in the paint in the first half, but, when the Jazz resisted there in the second half we took the path of least resistance/outside shots and got our ass handed to us.
Load up, go back to CA., and think about this for a couple days before heading back East.

Andrew Bynum has the easiest job in the world with Kobe drawing all the double teams on the perimeter.
With Kobe out, he starts seeing doubles and it totally throws him off his game. He panics and always swings the ball to the farside and misses the cutters right in front of him. His hook shot is totally off too because he's worried about the help defense and rushes it. It also doesn't help that his teammates couldn't throw alley oop passes after he makes a nice spin move.

Thanks for playing tonight Kobe. I know you're a warrior and everything and a fractured finger and stomach virus arent gonna "stop you", but being completely useless on both offense and defense really helped against an energetic jazz team. Thanks for that. Not like we dont have the team to survive if you sit out a few games or anything.

Kevin Garnett could have come back a bit later but he didn't and sucked for the first few games.
Same with Al Jefferson, Danny Granger and Antawn Jamison.
They all play through their injuries and completely suck.
When you're the leader of a team, you have to be the toughest son of a gun out there. If you're not, no one will follow despite of how good you are at playing the game.

Resting him for one game ain't gonna make that finger well.
He's got a choice: play thru it, or, sit 6-8 weeks and let it heal.

Kobe broke his index finger just yesterday, it's probably swelled as hell right now.
He should have sat, he didn't help out the team at all and you could say he hurt the team's chances with his 7/24 shooting and no defense.

Al, he still drew constant double teams, the other fellows could not produce on offense and nobody played defense. That is why we lost.
