Got the ball stolen, and he took a punch like swing at the guy trying to get the ball back as the guy was taking off down the court.

Derozen makes a good defensive play, gets the ball from Trevor, who tries to smack him in the neck with his elbow; it's a good thing he missed him, because it could have been dangerous.

Who said Ariza was more mentally stable than Artest ? :lol

If this were Artest, we'd have rocketfan crying by now. Or laughing, and saying "hahah, you have crazy pills on your team"

I guess when you're traded for Ron Artest..

+1

They should trade Calderon

But seriously, the Raps are better defensively with Jack in the lineup

17Pts, 8 Rebs, 8 Asts. With physical defence. Hell, he was battling Landry in the post! :lol

Seriously, Calderon was awesome when he was a backup/sharing starting role. He's regressed since. He should be Jack's backup, but it'll be a blow to his ego.

Ariza ejected after throwing a punch towards DeRozan. Ariza is 0-9 from the field so not surprisingly he missed.

damn good thing he didnt missed, he would have killed derozan if that had connected. there is a reason hitting back of the head is banned from UFC.

Seriously all season long I have not been impressed with this guy. He's supposed to be a scorer too? Screw him. If there is a guy who should be trade bait it's Ariza.

And we were all waiting for Artest to implode in LA...

Who would've thought that Ariza would be suspended first before Artest.

Dirty play out of frustration, he wasn't thinking.

Thats all he's done all season long, hell he didn't even do anything to artest when he threw his shoe.

I think this is isolated b.c the truth is that ariza isn't even a hardass.

That being said It REALLY isn't a big deal and I think he h as been mediocre this year.

Agreed.

Good that he didn't connect because that could be serious fight betwen players... (even if 90% of Toronto's players are softies) Not to mention DeRozan could be seriously hurt and Ariza's reputation would be stained forever.

There is this one guy called Reggie Evans on the Raptors bench. You don't wanna mess with him. And there is Rasho. The Raptors will win every NBA fight except against Matt Bonner and the Spurs when Tim Duncan casts a level 3 thunderbolt spell on them, resulting in fatality.

yea, if you look closely, it seems he just jerked his body after fucking up, but kind of swung his elbow in a reflex action.

Derozan came out and said "It was out of frustration and deff not intentional and that ariza was still his man."

Very classy on his part and I agree he should be suspended, he probably feels really embarrassed as it is. Jarret Jack was the idiot that escalated the whole situation, the little dumb fuck needs to get his ass whooped soon. Ariza was just standing there before he came over wondering wtf he just did.

Congrats on the homo mayor, buddy.:toast

I just saw that, good thing I live near Houston not actually in the city. :lol

Either way Culburn and the rest of you Laker fans can go fuck yourselves, Ariza was in the wrong and that's that, every player gets frustrated to that point at some time during their career. Only thing is Artest has a rep for doing it and you'll see in the end...I'll get the last laugh. :lol:lol:lol

Ariza didn't leave LA for Houston. LA moved on from Ariza for Artest. the Lakers weren't going to play the sitting duck role and wait for Ariza to sign. Once he took too long, LA went after Ron. I doubt Ariza would want to leave for Houston. I hear the weather over there really sucks.

Venti Quattro

Over-all, Ariza is 0-10 in the game. 0-9 on basketball shots and 0-1 on cheap shots.

Also can't wait to see the Lakers implode and be bounced out of the playoffs and you disappearing with them.

It's pretty much a given that Culburn has an interesting and illegal lifestyle.

And i wouldn't count on the Lakers imploding.

Dirty play, and he needs to calm the hell down. He deserves to be suspended for this. Good thing he was missing everything last night, including DeRozan's head.
