I know it's hard when you are mentally challenged but the Cowboys want the Giants out of the playoff picture...thus need them to lose tonight. Get with it dummy

Cowboys will not make the playoffs....period.

Phillips needs to be fired...NOW!
Never should have been hired in the first place, his team of the past have performed similarily, Jerry Jones should have seen this coming.

Jerry Jones will continue to hire coaches that have no spine and will do whatever he says. He is like Al Davis except less crazy.

I believe the Cowboys will get a wild card and win one game. Jerry Jones will see this as a positive and pick up Wade's option. He will go one more season and then Jason Garrett will step in as HC.

I don't think they win anymore games at all, if they do...the answer is still no.

It's not going to happen, mikey.

The Boys will lose to the Saints and Philly is going to come at them with everything they got.

The season is over.

I didn't say it would happen, I said it would have to happen. :)

Let the new coach search begin. I will throw my hat in for D-Coordinator.

I hope to everything holy that Garrett doesn't get the job. But, Jerruh is one crazy old mother fucker.

I would love nothing more than to see Cower or Fisher as the next HC, but Cower won't have the patience to deal with Jerruh and Adams seems to be past his misplaced disappointment with Fisher.

I say bring in Charlie Weiss, if only for his offensive creativity. It sounds stupid, I know, but he could do all sorts of wild things with the talent on the offense. He would make us all forget about Jason Garrett.

Aside from that, I don't know who else could be brought on board. Anyone other than Phillips would be an upgrade, but I don't know of anyone else that's available at the moment.

No, we are realistic fans, this happens every year.
When your offense can't get a touchdown from the 1-foot line in 4 tries, and you allow a 60-70 yard touchdown on a crossing pass and several missed tackles, along with a punt return for a touchdown, with almost the entire team missing tackles, that should tell you everything. Wishy-washy Wade should get in a player's face more often on the sidelines, he too laid back and the team makes too many fundamental mistakes.

With Ware being out this game. I think the Saints are gonna kill them.

I think you mean every year in the Romo era which is true and until Dallas does something to change that perception, it will remain so.

I dont know if the boys will lose this thursday. I mean the Saints have been giving away games lately but no one has wanted to take it. The cowboys can and think maybe will suprise every thursday. If they win there is no way they will lose to Wash.

I agree...but even if Philly wins, Dallas can still win the division. If they're tied after the last game, and Dallas wins it, Dallas would win the division because of the tiebreaker, I believe.

??

If Philly beats Dallas, they split the series. But, Philly would have a better division record so the division goes to them.

We lost the division, get that through your head. The best chance for a post season birth is to win out the rest of the season, and I don't think it's going to happen.

I could be wrong, but I'm being realistic. The Dallas D couldn't contain the Chargers offense and there is no way in hell you're going to tell anyone here that knows anything about football that the Charger offense is better than the Saints offense.

There is also the HUGE uphill battle vs. Philly. AT PHILLY! Once again, the defense is going to have all sorts of trouble with the Philly offense and the Philly defense is going to wreck havoc on Garrett's bland, predictable offensive play calling.

Also, playing Washington is going to be no cake walk. The Washington D has been playing very well as of late and the offense seems to be hitting a stride. You should never count a Washington game as an easy win.

It doesn't look good for our Cowboys.

LOL texans

Dallas is NOT coming back from this to win the division. Philly is just too good at the end of the season while Dallas is the opposite at the end of the season. Hell, if Dallas loses just 1 more and the Giants go 3-0, then the G-men get the wildcard.....:lmao That would be funny.

You can't blame Dallas' problems on anyone besides Phillips, Garrett and JJ this year. Findog said it best, Dallas won't be a contender as long as JJ is owner/GM. Almost all the good pieces on the Cowboys are parts Bill Parcells brought in, if Jones let Parcells make the changes he wanted to make (as in cut T.O. 2 years before they did anyway) who knows how good they are now.

I agree with you completely and have said so all over this board. Teams take on the personality of their head coach and that has never been more evident than in Wade's tenure. My point was that QBs get too much credit and too much blame and Romo will get it for this December even though he has played well. That's not fair but given the media and uninformed masses, that is what you will have. It has been anyone but Romo thus far.

Jerry Jones is the best owner in sports. He puts the money in the team to get the best players and he is the reason they won 3 SBs and he is the reason they will win this year.

Would be nice if Cowboys win out but if they go 2-1 then they still have a chance. Giants have the Redskins, Panthers and Vikings in Minnesota. If they Vikings don't sit everyone then Vikings should win that one.

The Eagles (9-4) have the Niners and Broncos at home. They'll clinch the division before the Dallas game. Can't see Dallas (8-5) beating both the Saints and Redskins. They must win one of those. They'll beat the Eagles, especially if the Eagles rest their key starters.

The key team are the Giants (7-6): they're @ Washington, home against the Panthers, and then @ Vikings. The Vikings will rest their starters for that one. The key game is the Redskin game.

If the Giants win their 3 games, they own the tiebreaker over Dallas.

Actually the Saints game is more important than the Redskins game. If the Cowboys can win and give NO a loss, then this would force Minny to play their starters all the way through the end of the season in hopes the NO will lose another game and the Vikings can win the home field advantage over them.

But if they lose against NO, then they have to win out and and get some help to make the playoffs.
