They are blowing the Pacers away in the second quarter -- 33 to 8 for the quarter.

indiana choked...
they got blitzed and they didn't know what to do...

Yeah, it's funny, Paul Pierce is like 0-for-6 and the Celtics are still destroying them.

What's gotten into Antione Walker? He's not playing like the selfish, ballhogging, malcontent, shitbag we have all come to know and love.

He's actually playing team ball, taking high PCT shots, passing when he is covered in the post and playing unselfish.....I even saw him pass up a triple covered 3PA for the first time in his entire career...

He must REEEALLLY worried about a new contract...he must really want to stay in Boston...

I wouldn't trust him though, he's always known how he should play, he just usually doesn't care to do it...So no matter how he does in the playoffs...as soon as he gets paid it's gonna be shitbag city all over again.

he's been like that since he got back.
i was really impressed with the way the whole boston team played.
they played w/ composure though they were pushing the pace.
slow but fast...
and it helped that indiana was lost in offense

What's gotten into Antione Walker?

A short exile to Atlanta can work wonders, huh?

Boston is going to win this series.

Too many people picked Indiana just because of their past playoff success but this is a down year for them . Bad karma for Indiana for getting involved in the brawl with the fans and all the suspensions and the injury to their best player O'Neal who is just getting back and losing their pg Tinsley for this series.

This negativity will carry over into the playoffs. Also boston is a much better team then they were in the past after they got Walker back. Walker, Pierce R Davis and Payton are enough fire power to get past a negative karma team like Indiana.

that bad karma is the in-thing now e?

?????

Thats just an expression for a negative feeling that the team has endured this season. Its not conducive to winning.

I offically change my vote for COY to Doc...

He's taken a team of malcontent, disgruntled, ballhogs(I mean literally a team of them) and forged them into an group of guys that play team ball and play it well...and stay within their roles.

It's incredibly impressive that he's got all these ballhogs playing so unselfishly...

He's even got LaFrentz playing up to his talent level for the first time in his career, in the playoffs no less...LaFrentz is kicking ass on both sides of the ball.

Nice job by Doc Rivers.

poor job of preperation by Rick Carlisle.

Who scouted the Celtics for them, Helen Keller??

Someone had to have said to the them, BTW, this LaFrentz guy can hit an outside shot or two.

He can hit them...he's just never done it consistently in big games...he can also defend...LaFrentz has always had the talent to be one of the best C's in the NBA...this is the first time I have seen him play halfway like one in a big game.

He's taking Jermaine O'Neal out to the woodshed in this game...

This series is a long way from being over...The Pacers have been a Jekyll and Hyde team all season long....so has Boston.

Ricky Davis is a legitimate 6th man of the year....actually i think he should win. Young Gordon is a close 2nd

Whottt is whistling past the graveyard....whistling past the graveyard. :lol

Series is over.

:)

Yes, Doc has worked wonders with this team as Whottt has stated. I mean, he turned the nutcase Ricky Davis into a great 6th man, a position that he would never ever have played before without complaining and whining.
