Peyton Manning

Super Bowl Champion
Super Bowl MVP
3-time NFL MVP (might soon be 4)
Top 5 in most if not all QB stat categories (and well ahead of pace to be #1 in all of them before his career is over)
22 straight wins and counting
114 wins in a decade and counting

Tom Brady

3x Super Bowl Champion
2x Super Bowl MVP
NFL MVP
Got caught cheating

argumentatively the goat for the two biggest choke jobs in NFL history

Fixed and removed the jargon that had nothing to to with comparing. By going with the provided stats it's pretty much tied if you going by hash marks.

Wow, that's a ridiculous take. So you'd take Brady over Manning because he's had teams that have an all-star lineup around him, while Manning is currently unbeaten with a team that doesn't even have a running game?

this would actually make sense and be a reasonable argument if you are debating whether the colts or patriots are the best team over the decade, but not when comparing two individuals in a sport where there are always 21 other guys on the field, and the two that are being debated over are NEVER on the field at the same time as the other.

that "head-to-head" argument is the stupidest piece of reasoning ive ever heard

Answer is Brady.

Brady has 3 rings with teams that didn't have near the talent Manning has had for just about his entire career. Manning finally eeked 1 out against the Rex Grossman led Bears but otherwise he chokes in the playoffs and then throws his teammates under the bus.

Everybody gets impressed by his hard counts and that he yells at his teammates when they f up, but in the end he's not a winner like Brady.

Better technician = Manning. Better winner = Brady.

If he was as good as people claim he is, he'd be the one with three rings right now.

Tough one.

Tom Brady is good at two things; winning Super Bowls and impregnating Supermodels.

Peyton Manning is good at having gaudy passing stats, and making funny commercials.

But honestly, the fact that Matt Cassel can go 11-5 with the Pats tells me that it is more the system, than the quarterback, that makes the team what it is. In terms of quarterbacking ability, I'll take Manning.

funny how everyone just throws out the window the fact that brady had an all-world defense, but insists he had no talent.

all-world defense?

tell me, how many players from the Patriots dynasty will go to the HOF? I guarantee you that there will be more Steelers & Colts players going to the HOF from this decade than there will be Pats players.

are you gonna tell me that the pats didnt have one of the better defenses that the NFL has seen? they might not have had as many individually talented players, but they were a complete defense, and arguably the smartest defense in NFL history. they played together as well as any defense you will see. that defense was sick as hell.

the only guys that really stick out as potential HOFs for the colts are Manning, harrison, and wayne. and manning is the #1 reason those other two guys would even be in the discussion. if they played on a team like the texans with shit quarterbacks the way Andre Johnson has had to for most of his career, they wouldn't even remotely be in the discussion.

WTF??? vinateri earned his HOF eligibility with the pats, not the colts and you know that you homer

freeney is MAYBE an HOF player

edge i doubt makes it

if you are gonna put those MAYBE players in there, then we can throw a lot more pats in there

bruschi, light, welker, seymour, harrison, law, wilfork

unfortunately, brady isnt the one making them look like hall of famers. marvin harrison made Ty Law a potential HOF, and Randy Moss made Welker a potential HOF

rofl at matt light being a hall of fame player. If we're gonna put overrated LT's who false start five times a game in the hall we might as well throw Flozell Adams in there too.

bruschi might be HOF level
welker needs 3 or 4 more years at his current pace, doubtful
seymour no
why would the hall put the dirtiest player in football history in there?
