Rockets have underrated talent because people keep saying that the Rockets should be the worst team in the league.

They have ---

Carl Landry - 6th man of the year candidate
Kyle Lowry - one of the best backup PGs in the league
Shane Battier - ultimate glue guy/all NBA defender
Luis Scola - solid starting PF
Chuck Hayes - legitimate defender/rebounder/underrated passer
Aaron Brooks - Tony Parker-lite but with a better jumpshot
Trevor Ariza - athletic, but still improving
David Andersen - good backup Center, automatic jumpshot
Chase Budinger - could become a more athletic Peja

The West overall is just much, much more powerful this year.

13 of the West 15 teams have a better record than the #8 seed in the East.

No one should.

You're dumb if you do. How many wins tops did Chuck give this team? Was it 13?

All these talks of the East suddenly gaining more power is hot bullshit

Even without Yao I still think the Rockets can take the Lakeshow to six or seven games.

Don't forget the Rockets have the toughest schedule which does not include the ridiculous amount of back to backs we have. Too bad we don't have the Lakers ridiculous home game starts to their season to go along with our back to backs (which would make things so much more fair)

At this stage, I'm pretty satisfied with our record.
