This will be the most sincerest post you will ever see from me. All BS aside...
Just imagine how boring the NBA would be without the Lakers and Kobe Bryant. Let's face it the Lakers are sustaining the league and have been for decades. All I want other fans to do is show the proper respect when it comes to L.A. My only gripe is that you fans don't seem to appreciate the Lakers as the ground breakers and trendsetters that they are. We've opened up doors of opportunity for other teams to be formed based on our dominance alone. Now it's time for others fans to show us respect and give us our due. From the 1940's until today in each succeding decade we've either 1.) Been to the NBA finals and lost or 2.) Been to the NBA finals and won...so yes give us some credit show us some respect.
Most teams have either never been or won within each succeeding decade.
Here's a quick rundown of teams:
Boston -- Once held in High esteem was irrelevant for almost 30yrs. unlike the Lakers being relevant in every decade...Boston's run of futility ended in 2008. But Boston is unlike L.A where the fans are fickle...now that want to hate Kobe and the Lakers but just a few years ago in 2007 before their blockbuster trades here is what they were chanting:

Dallas Mavs and Phoenix Suns -- For some reason I felt compelled to lump these two teams together...These teams remind me of a Cat I used to hoop with. In the statewide tourney's we'd play this guy had the most perfect form and rotation on the ball I'd ever seen...He was confident, cocky, and had swagger...when he shot the ball we we're all mesmerized...problem is the fucking shots wouldn't go down. We had to cut this clown. Same thing with Mavs and Suns...they look good but it's fools gold..the only thing I have to say is that you better enjoy those token MVP awards that Nash and Dirk won (only as the great white hopes)...
Rockets -- I only give Olajuwon and Mo Malone props...(and Vernon Maxwell for going into the stands and kicking a fans ass) but that ship has long since sailed...enjoy the two you have cause that's all she wrote.
Spurs -- They have half a ring from the lockout season so I really don't count that one as a full ring. All teams should share part of that ring. The Spurs were decent for a few years but "Timmy"; Sweetness Parker and Ms. Jefferson will need more manhood than what they have and Manu lying about is age ain't helping.
Clevland Cavaliers --- all you need to know why they'll never win a title (Lebronze or not) is this...one defination of Cavalier which is: " haughty, disdainful, or supercilious: an arrogant and cavalier attitude toward others." or a man escorting a woman or acting as her partner in dancing. dictionary.com
Miami and Denver: Perennial underachievers. D-Whistle had his one moment under the sun thanks to Kobe's Mavericks...(sorry Mark Cuban) and Denver is just a sad case...I maintain that the city was and is Kobe's home away from home.
Orlando -- probably the only team outside of L.A that I really don't have much bad to say about except for the hater that is Wince Carter...
Atl, NO, and any others I failed to mention good luck going against this lineup:
