Not sure if anyone caught it, but ESPN classic had the 1995 ACC touranment final on TV today.
Tim was an 18 year old sophomore and had a pretty excellent game. He battled "Sheed, Stack, and Jeff McInnis. Randolph Childress went wild, thanks to Tim opening up the court.
This was my first recollection of Tim Duncan, I remembered watching the game. I didn't know who Tim Duncan was then, but I vaguely remember him.
After the game they asked Tim if it was his last ACC tournament (alluding to the idea he would go pro). Tim said no it wasn't his last ACC tournament.
Tim had 16 points, 20 rebounds, and 3 blocks and Wake Forest beat a loaded North Carlolina in OT.
