[QUOTE=bostonguy;3934815]What happened to Dirk and how serious is his injury???[/QUOTE

His elbow connected with Landry's jaw against the rockets two nights ago. Got some teeth stuck in his elbow. Apparently he's being held out for precautionary reasons i.e doesn't want them stitches to break.

Oh ok so he should be back by the next game or the one after? Whew. He is one of my favorite players in the league to watch. Glad he will be fine.

He is questionable for Tuesday game vs POR but I don't seem him missing any serious time.

As long as some infection doesn't set in then yeah that should be the case.
On the game, all the guys really stepped up especially Timmy T. Glad to see the JET back on the runway too.

Great win. Testament to the depth of this team that we can win without the 3rd best player in the league and best PF in the universe.

For real, quit hijacking my thread. Props to the Mavs for winning against a top 6 NBA team tonight, WITHOUT the 3rd best player in the league... this shows the FO has doen a great job with the DEPTH of this team at least, even if not constructed well enough to win a championship.

thanks for the confidence booster there... it feels great. Kind of like winning a championship, something i guess a mavs fan wouldnt know about.

But yeah, awesome win against the overrated cavs. congratulations on winning without one allstar. Being a Rockets fan, I am thoroughly impressed by your teams ability to win this game... :rolleyes

The Mavs were just beating a team they were supposed to beat. No surprises there.

There is one team the Cavs won't lose to on the road from Texas. Can't win on the road against the Southwest division either. Losses @Griz @Rockets @Mavs.
