What nba potential did an under sized, unathletic 2 guard that can't dribble and who's only strength is spot up shooting have?

I know you're not very bright, but at least try.

He was touted as one of the best college basketball players/shooters in history, that's why.

You're telling me there are just gobs of Naismith award winners that are expected to suck in the NBA?

Yeah man. Those stupid NBA teams and their 11th overall draft picks. Obviously they thought he was going to be the next Cherokee Parks.

Oh really? More than one team drafted him 11th? You're probably the same type of white boy who thought Adam Morrison was going to be the next Larry Bird. :lmao BUT.. BUT.. HE WAS DRAFTED 3RD!!!

You said "everyone". It is not the fault of mine that you made a massive generalization despite the fact that Redick was a lottery pick. Clearly if the Magic wouldn't have taken him at 11th, he would have fallen completely out of the NBA draft.

Fail. Big time.

No one was comparing Bynum to Wilt before/after he was drafted like they were Odom --> Magic.

If not for his attitude i think Kwame Brown could have been a beast.

Why not limit this to players in the NBA at least 5 years?

Coleman and Thomas definitely (wasted talent)
Rod Strickland
Odom and T-Mac (always had the skills, but never the temperament, to lead a team places)

Garnett? No freakin way! Led bad teams well, led a good team to the Trophy.

Roy? He's just at the start of his peak.

Dirk and Nash have achieved a lot but never got their ring, like Barkley, Malone, Stockton etc.

Agree with the rest.

I know this is a troll post, but Nash and Dirk had next to no hype, except for Barkley busting a wad wanting him to go to Auburn. Nash barely got a college scholarship.

Agreed with Vince Carter. At least he's the best dunker of all time I guess.

Yes Roy. He has been hyped to the point of an undeserving All Star appearance, but the reality is that he's nothing special. His Portland teams has been average and he has shown he's more interested in himself than the team. He's no franchise material if you ask me.

He's only played 3 seasons on a young, rebuilding team!

Have you seen him close games? The guy is a killer, and he's improving.

Dead wrong on Roy I reckon.

Eddy Curry by far. The media hyped him as a Shaq who was further along and more talented. He's just a completely worthless player who never made any kind of impact. Curry is a much bigger bust than Kwame Brown IMO.

Well, the media was correct. Shaq was a useful fat-ass. Curry is a fat-ass too, but a useless one.

Bender and Harrington. Pacers got that one wrong.

I stand by Garnett. He has always been hyped on the same level as Duncan. There is also plenty of documented cases that illustrate what a poor leader and human being he is.

True. Curry had almost Lebron type hype (as far as media coverage). With his TV show, I thought he would at least be the next Patrick Ewing.

All he's known for now is "Come touch it, Dave."

But seriously:

- Coleman: what a fucking talent; he even blocked a young Shaq on dunk attempts in may occasion; and he posterized him once

- JR Rider: so much offensive talent

- Kenny Anderson

- Latrell Spreewell :hat
