Kings 102, Bulls 98

CHICAGO -- Tyreke Evans and the Sacramento Kings pulled off an incredible comeback, rallying from 35 points down in the second half to stun the Chicago Bulls 102-98 on Monday night.

The Bulls led 79-44 with 8:50 left in the third quarter and were still up 83-50 two minutes later before the Kings began dominating every facet of the game.

Evans personally outscored Chicago 9-3 over the final 2:13 and finished with 23 points for Sacramento, which has its first two-game road winning streak since late in the 2007-08 season.

After Sacramento finished the third with a 19-5 run to make it 88-69, Ime Udoka scored 15 points in the first 9:32 of the fourth to cut it to 95-91. That's when Evans, the outstanding rookie guard from Memphis, took over.

Evans is amazing. He's rookie of the year so far. He was huge down the stretch once again.

The biggest thing was defense. This team hustles and plays hard and never gives up. They're better than what their record shows.

Vinny Del Negro has done a decent job, the problem with the Bulls is that they don't have any decent bigs and need some better scorers. I like Rose, and the energy that Noah brings, Miller also comes in and plays his butt off. Hinrich and Thomas are excellent. Deng though is quite inconsistent on a nightly basis, but he has played better this season. This team needs some size...

Coughing up 20 point leads is pretty normal but losing a 35 point lead is pretty astounding.

Tyreke is the next star PG.

Yep. Jennings was hot at first, but Evans is starting to show he's the better player.

Guys like Tyreke and OJ Mayo have that extra win at all cost mentality that makes their teammates believe in them. Jennings is talented but I dunno if he has that edge to him.

Equally pathetic, but since 121-63 was a playoff game I still think it gets the nod.

Tyreke Evans is so much better than Jennings the ROY isn't close at all, he's already a top 5 PG. He's the one example I can think of where having that one year in college really paid off.

Ime and some big white guy were the reason for the comeback. They pretty much singlehanded got it to single digits. Then Evans took over and went into god-mode. The bulls faces were so demoralized you could see they had no chance of winning.

Damn, that like equals his entire scoring output from his time with the Spurs.

This isn't surprising. Kings are a helluva team with Tyreke Evans, and their record does not do justice; this kid is clutch, both defensively and offensively. Having him on my fantasy team, I always see him going into halftime with a meager single digit points. Once fourth quarter comes, he ends up with double digits, usually in the 20's and around 2 steals late in the game. With that said, i think the kings need to let go of k-mart and trade for a star PG so tyreke can get shots even easier.
