Don't feel like telling the story behind my question. I'm sure you guys can use your imagination stations for that. So here's the question.
I'm looking for a movie.. a movie that might not even exist.

I need a action movie that is rated "PG" or "G" that is not a cartoon or digitally animated(such as pixar movies.) Claymation either.

Possible? I think not...but there is hope right? It would be a plus if it could be found on blue ray but ..i'm doubtfull. Only thing i would think of is a Tv series on DVD but I prefer a movie.

So movie buffs.. who's got answers?

There's a list of the top grossers in the G and PG category. Some notable names for your criteria:

Star Wars
Chronicles of Narnia
Jaws (although that predates the PG-13 rating I think it'd get nowadays)

Well, you might have to go old-school. I was trying to think of some movies from when I was that age, like War Games with Matthew Broderick, the OLD Escape from Witch Mountain (if you're looking for kids), The Last Starfighter (one of my favorites)... I'll give it some thought. Are you looking for a kids' party?

actually no it's for a public view where kids might be present. Just something that enhances the view of the which is why i wanted action.

top runnings mentioned are "Chronicles of Narnia" and "Raiders Of The Lost Ark" Although i like Raiders more.... i think the chronicles might be more HD friendly.

The Neverending Story

What's that movie where those kids build a spaceship and end up on an alien spaceship with two aliens that turn out to be kids themselves? I loved that movie.

There are kids movies that are "action" movies.

The Chronic (what!), the Chronic (what!), the Chronic (what!) cles of Narnia.

Harry Potter movies too.

Spy Kids

Princess Bride

The Michael Keaton/George Clooney Batman movies

Or maybe you're talking about actual adult action movies that kids can watch.

Blues Brothers

Karate Kid

Kung Fu Hustle (but it might not be PG)

Is Men In Black rated R?

Show a little San Antonio pride and rent Cloak & Dagger. You get a kids adventure and play "do you recognize that?" at the same time...

Try the classics, I used to love westerns when I was a kid:

The Searchers
The Cowboys
True Grit
The Alamo
Shipwrecked ('91 with Gabriel Byrne; hard to find)
Original Star Wars trilogy (ESB is awesome)

Not quite as much 'action,' but still great adventure movies for kids:

(Disney)
Old Yeller, Swiss Family Robinson

I'm not sure what you have against PG-13 movies, but if it happens to be the foul language, you can get some DVD players that have a filter; problem is, they're hard to find and I think there's a hefty 'activation' fee.
