hey i am trying to install a program and i keep getting an error i bought the program and then torrented 2 different ones and they all give me the same error - error 1335. the cabinet file 'Disk1C~1.cab' required for installation is corrupt and cannont be used. this could indicate a network error, an error reading the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.
does anyone kno what is up?

From what I have gathered through google error 1335 is the asshole error. What you need to do is get a really sharp stick and shove it up your ass. It will probably need to be a really thick one for you because chances are you wouldn't feel anything less than a javelin. After you've done that then get a plastic bag and put it over your head. Once you've done that secure it with duct tape and take deep breaths.
That should completely solve your problem.

First try this to check if the game disc is corrupt.
Step 1: Run the Xcopy command
You can use the Xcopy utility to identify if the disc or the drive is bad. To run
Xcopy command, follow these steps:
1. Insert the game discs in your CD drive, if the game setup starts, exit it.
2. Click Start, point to Run, and then type Cmd
3. The MS-DOS window appears on the screen.
4. Type the following command at the prompt: cd\.
5. You should end up at the root drive the hard disk drive--for example, drive
C:.
6. Type the following command at the prompt: Xcopy CD drive letter :\*.* /s
c:\text.txt
After you type this command line, press ENTER. You receive the following message:
“Does C:\text.txt specify a file name or directory name on the target? (F=file,
D=Directory).“
Press F for file. Press A to select all.
Depending on the speed of the computer’s CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, the steps to Xcopy may
take several minutes to finish. If there are any files that cannot be read from the
CD-ROM that indicates that the CD-ROM is dirty, damaged, or the game CD is bad.
