Spurs at Knicks Pictures and review

Ok so obviously this wasn't the best game. You all watch them enough to know that not only should their offense have been better but their defense was constantly leaving gaping holes that let any Knick willing to take a chance go for a run straight to the basket. It was clear that they were all slightly sluggish but I see them play a few times every year and sadly I've seen them more sluggish than they were last night. They didn't look distracted like they did last year against Philly, they just looked like a team that wasn't all put together yet. I was very happy that they didn't give up and they didn't become so irritated with themselves that they ended up making mistakes out of anger. I don't know how good they'll be when they work out the kinks, but I do believe that they will in fact work it out. They didn't look like they believed in themselves much last season and this year they look hopeful. That is enough to get them to a few wins.

Since their play hasn't been up to par I was really interested in the team chemistry. The team is so drastically different that it almost felt like I was rooting for someone else. They do have chemistry though. They're pretty loose with each other before the game and no one seemed to be left out.

I really wish I could see them play a good game in person but all in all I have to appreciate the fact that they built up some energy and got aggressive to put themselves ahead and get the win. They wouldn't have won this game if Manu had just given up on shooting or Tony hadn't believed in himself.

I paid about $230 a ticket. I'm not thrilled about the price but they're only in my area 3 times so I like to be close.
