Since I am out of state, I occassionally try to stream the games or game time react on 1200 woai through the internet, but I have not been able to pick up the actual broadcast. Each time it has some kind of advertisement for about 15 seconds and then I get some sort of Consumer Reports thing that plays. After the consumer reports broadcast, which I thought I had to sit through to get the game, it pauses and then repeats. I thought it might be some computer setting, but streaming woai through an iphone app gave me the same broadcast as on woai.com. Has anyone else had this issue? Anyone know how I can fix it?

Have you ever been able to listen to WOAI online when it was not during or near a game broadcast? Because I believe that radio stations are not allowed to stream NBA games (or MLB or NFL for that matter. It could just be that WOAI is just putting that Consumer Reports ad in a loop for online listeners as filler until the game broadcast has passed.

That would make sense, I guess they are forcing internet listeners to use nba.com for the games or league pass. I have been able to pick up normal broadcasts, just not the spurs games.

Yeah, the League doesn't allow them to stream the game broadcasts.

Here in Buffalo, they don't bother with consumer's reports. You can get the pre-game, but when the game starts, nothing but silence. Funny thing is they still air the commercial breaks. Then when the game comes back on, more silence. Unless your in the spurs local market, I guess they block you due to nba restrictions.

Yeah the game gets cut off once it starts but you can go to NBA.COM and listen there. You get the WOAI broadcast through NBA.COM.

I have been using a new app that just came out this season called NBA Game Time on my BlackBerry. It is $9.99 for all NBA game audio for the whole season. No problems (so far,) and I believe it is available for the iphone as well. Hope this helps.
