3rd in the loss column, but still behind in the win column due to fewer games played.

this is weird, and isnt it crazy that they (nba analyst) were dogging us for losing and getting beat by sub 500 teams when we had like three guys injured, and boston and L.a are missing one guy and they arent questioning their talent!!! we can still stay afloat with people hurt at all times, but as soon as l.a loses ron ron they start playing like shit, and boston loses pierce they lose 2 in a row!! god i love this shit

LA loses to Phoenix. Boston loses to GS. Without Pierce, they are vulnerable. He is their stud. Hopefully GS is pumped enough tonight to hand LA a back to back loss.
The Lakers are great but are playing heavy minutes with their starters all year and when one goes down, the bench is not stepping up. It should be interesting to see how this story all pans out at the end of the year.
I am liking that this Spurs team is so deep and that we have the #1 bench in the league in scoring, rebounding, assists, etc... With Pop managing minutes and and that good bench, we have a good shot to go deep in the play offs.

That's why the games are played. All 82 of them.

It's all going to come down to how well the Spurs are playing once the real season gets here, and how the playoff matchups stackup. A Phoenix-LA, 4 vs 1 seed matchup in the second round would be great for the Spurs if they could get the 2 or the 3 seed. That might be wishful thinking on my part.

Still too early to get excited about where we are ranked; the season is still young....but I do love how we are playing right now; keep Bonner and Finley out; we seem to be doing better without them....

Spurs need to hang tough, though.

They've done well to improve their position against these cookie-cutter teams, but playing all of them now just means we've got to play all the hard teams later.

The loss column is the only one that matters.

Wins are nice but they wont mean much if the Spurs don't show they can compete with the Elites.

Too early and anything can happen. Spurs just need to continue to improve and integrate the mewbies. As TP said in NY they like going on the road in order to come together as a team. Once the RR trip is here we will really start to see what this team is made of. I've always believed that we usually see what this team is capable of at that time every year IMHO
