Beat? We fucking destroyed them. When Pop dumped the bench, two reserve guards, our 12th man (Ratliff) and two IR actives (Hairston and Haislip) only lost 4 points of the lead in 9 minutes.

Miami was still playing Beasley, Chalmers, and Cook.

Crushing bad teams is part of what makes good teams great. We were able to shut down their primary scorer and force the rest of their team to beat us. I'd say that's a great recipe for all but 2 teams in the league, so I like what we were able to do.

Bogans did a hell of a job frustrating him and forcing him into bad or tough shots. Wade was almost invisible in the first half.

Yeah, I agree but he did have some help from the fellas.

The Spurs are all about team defense, but Bogans did a hell of a job bothering him, and unlike most of our defenders in the past, Wade can't overpower him. Bogans is pretty strong and does a good job keeping him out of the paint.

No doubt and Bogans has really helped the overall team D. Tonight alone, the Spurs may have moved from 10th to 7th (supplanting Miami at #7) on points allowed @ 96 ppg. Granted, the Heat were fairly tired but only 10 FGs in the 2nd half should be credited to excellent D.

Great game. The defense on Wade was excellent. Manu played really well too.

Parker was very solid offensively with 15 and 9. He and Hill were far better than Arroyo and Chalmers.

TP was driving to the basket and finishing layups like we're accustomed to seeing.

I saw Wade toy around with Bogans several times, the help D really controlled Wade tonight. The great thing about Bogans though is that he's hungry to be that defensive stopper. He's not in Bowen's lane yet and might never be but I like that he's working hard to hopefully get there 1 day.

Step in the right direction no question. I liked how RJ looked more comfortable out there as well.
