Ohio looks too have too much strength for Oregon, but will Pryor manage to not fuck that up?

Big 10 is looking great this bowl season. Took out Miami and LSU. I thought this one would be tough for Oregon...but its real early, yet.

OSU threw away a chance to end this at halftime. After that 46 yard catch, they opened up the pussy play calling book and haven't done shit.

Northwestern missing that GW kick sucked...that wouldve been a nice win for the conference.

Tressle almost always comes out with a very masterful first drive to major games. This was no different. If Oregon settles down Pryor will lose the game.
I think Oregon needs to play it smart, run first pass second, and they got this.
But yeah will be pretty funny if Oregon blows this one.

Idk but I can't stand coaches who stop doing what got them up by two possessions once they're up by two possessions.

Missed an extra point ... and a field goal earlier in the game ... which no doubt contributed to them going for the fake at the end instead of trying another FG.
Would not want to be that kid tonight ... cost NW their first bowl win since the 40's. Of course, had Kafka not thrown 5 INTs, that might have helped too.

Meh, part of that is Oregon. Plus, Oregon wasn't looking so good on O and now they are getting some momentum. Btw, tressel just went for it on 4th.

If Pryor didn't have the IQ of a golden retriever he'd be some kind of player.

Pryor is playing well tonight. But his physical ability as a runner is so wildly overrated. Griffin and Johnson are way way WAY better athletes than Pryor.
But it looks like this one is in the bag, Pryor has made some very good throws and though its so cliche to say, Tressel came ready to let Pryor win the game.
Pac10 baby. Totally dominated.

Game over for Oregon. Should have gone for it instead of trying for a FG

Not so sure USC ruling the Pac 10 has been good for the conference, as far as the other teams are concerned. Doesn't appear Oregon knows how to win the big game.
Where's the big 10 love? They are the best right?

Yeah, he is playing well tonight, but there was that one play in particular where he got picked and Posey was open for the 1st.

Give credit to Ohio State's defense. They are way too much for Oregon to handle. It's not so bad watching Ohio State play when it doesn't affect my team. You have to admit, Tressel is a great coach (even though he wears a gay sweatervest).

There are some who think bowl victories don't really matter, conference smack doesn't really matter, but I can't help but say the Big10 really needed these victories today.
Maybe it doesn't really matter.
Masoli showed me nothing tonight, he caved under pressure.
Terrell is a dumb player, but his stupidity was his strength today because he just kept going and going, not getting down after his mistakes. I'm half surprised we did not see Tressell use Pryor as a receiver like he did against us (successfully I might add). We did not really see any of the rabbit outta the hat trickery I've come to expect from Tressell. He just came into the game knowing he'd let Pryor play loose and with a solid defensive game plan.
College football fans gotta admit, it's been a pretty fun bowl season thus far.
Now let's see those cinci boys whoop some Tebow ass

same here, although they have some excuses. playing the MWC teams, bowl pairings against the MWC are always going to be unequal because that conference is so underrated.
Stanford lost their QB
Oregon had that stupid LeBlount Fumble, and Ohio St. converted so many 3rd downs on freakish plays, I still say if they played again Oregon would win.

Eh, I don't know. Ohio State is pretty good I think. Things didn't go the way I hoped this Bowl season, but that's okay. I still LOVE college football! :tu

Been a good bowl season. Tebow better have read dueteronomy twice last night.
Ohio State still sucks...always over-hyped for nothing...
So when Texas was supposed to blow Ohio State out of the water in last years Fiesta Bowl and need a last minute TD and a great spot on 4th Down to keep their drive alive was Texas overhyped considering they got "jobbed" out of playing for the national championship.
Ehhh....guy still can't win the big one if you ask me...:lol
Tressel has 4 BCS wins and a National Title
Brown has 3 BCS wins and a National Title
Yeah Tress has struggled recently but to say he still can't win the big one just shows that you have watched way to much ESPN.

Pryor might have had a break-out performance (still left a lot of yards on the field; a real quarterback would have been salivating at those Oregon blitzes) but this was Jim Tressel's day. He came out with a great gameplan, went against tendencies, had his boys fired up and flying around, and really dominated a team a lot of people expected to win handily. Then he threw some heck's and gosh's around, gave a shout-out to TBDBITL, and was out.
The Vest is a pimp.
