Of course, that's why the refs had a 4 minute discussion after the shot. The shot was clearly good, in terms of time.

It's better to ask Paul Westphal re: this matter lol

His heels are OVER the line - not on it. That's in-bounds. Paul Westphal knows.

I'm not obsessed with Kobe..I think he's the best player in the game. His right heel is up. Left heel went down out of bounds though...and that one's farther out of bounds than the right one...He also seems to have gotten away with a pushoff...but it doesn't matter..game's over...your team won...congrats..

Funniest part is when the commentator says "Is there anyone more clutch than that man?" well..yeah, there is. The highest shooting percentage in clutch situations over the last five seasons belongs to one Manu Ginobili...Top 10 is on the link below

To measure how clutch a player is we used True Shooting Percentage (TS%), which accounts for trips to the free-throw line.

Can you say flop?

Is everybody on this forum obsessed with Kobe Bryant? Every other topic has Kobe in the title.

I don't get the superstar argument to a certain degree. Are these guys getting calls because they are superstars or are they superstars because they can get these calls. I think it is the latter. That is what separates the great from the good; the ability to do things that make you give them the calls.

Kobe, Wade, Lebron...that is not a coincidence. Those guys are all freaks of nature.

Seems like it! He makes a great shot and you cannot even give him a kudo without the haters piling on with lame ovservations, the obligatory MJ > Kobe posts, eventually ending in the rape card. He's the most popular player in the NBA and you either love or hate em. I have a lot of issues with some of his past antics and nothing but respect for his work ethic and game. I have to admit though, I love defending him to the haters simply cause it bothers em so much and they are so obsessed with him.

The Kings blew the f**kin game, they had the Lakers beat and play crappy defense on that last play. Kobe's heel may have been close to the out of bounds line, and he did push off, but I hate when teams blow games and hand it over to the other team. They should have doubled Kobe and not let him get open, let someone else on the Lakers beat you for the win.

No. It is about consistently having the ability to get calls others can't. That is not getting special treatment, that is being a special player that others cannot adjust to.
