Oh lawd. This is music. Sure I have heard Lean on me and Ain't no Sunshine, but it was usually a lame cover and not the original. The entire Live at Carnegie Hall album is greatness. I am deeply ashamed for being unaware of Bill Withers :depressed

Have you heard of Otis Redding? One of my favorites. Look him up, the songs may surprise you. "Try a little tenderness" is the shit!

Can't believe you haven't heard of Bill Withers. But of course you're young. I agree with the poster on "Use Me". Pure greatness.

Another one to listen to is O.C. Smith covering "Sittin on the Dock of the Bay".
