Benson should've been the pick. He went on a terrible Bengals team when many believed his career was over and put them in the playoffs.

I know the OP is a Colts fan and could be accused of being biased, but in this case I absolutely agree. Only two of those players could be said to have been left for absolute dead last year only to turn in a huge performance this year. Benson and Young. With that said I would give Benson the edge because he was playing last year, poorly, and was cut by a horrible Bears team. The last we saw of VY was early in the season last year and he wasn't stink it up bad, he just wasn't good, then he was a headcase.

The Bears are also pretty fuckin inept to cut Benson after a rookie season that never happened due to injuries, a 2nd season that showed promise with the limited touches he got, and a 3rd season when their entire offense sucked just as much as Benson did. Nevertheless, that 3rd season, Benson had an 11 carry 89 yard game against Seattle then had a season ending ankle injury against Denver when at the time he was running all over them. Their offense probably wouldn't be so bad if they had Forte and Benson as a platoon and Forte didn't get burned out after his rookie year.

Dunno, Ron Turner was inept. He probably could have fucked it up.

Benson is easily the better pick, but they have to do something to keep Brady relevant since the Pats don't have a chance in hell at making it to the Superbowl.

Maybe they saw this: http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4673771/football-outsiders-brady-ranks-no-1

The Football Outsiders determined that, based on advanced statistical metrics, the Patriots' Tom Brady was the best quarterback in the NFL in 2009. The Chargers' Phillip Rivers was second, the Colts' Peyton Manning third and Drew Brees of the Saints fourth.

Why was Brady ranked above the others? According to the Football Outsiders, the defining factor was strength of schedule. Based on their numbers, Brady played the hardest schedule of pass defenses of any quarterback in the past 15 years.
