Dominant left hand but am ambidextirous for certain things. I can shoot pool with both hands for instance. Comes in handy in tournaments :toast

just a few other things I can do with both hands.....

Shoot a gun accurately (more accurate with my left because it utilizes my dominant eye). Although I cant shoot accurately with both at the same time.

One thing wierd I have noticed.... if a door opens towards me and the handle is on the right side of the door, I use my left hand. if the handle is on the left side of the door, I use my right hand. Conversely, if the door pushes in, I do it opposite. left handle, left hand. right handle, right hand. It's nothing I think about, just feels natural to me. Anyone else do this?

I was a Lefty and when the nuns at the school saw that, they were horrified that I was using my "dirty hand" to write gods words so they decided to "cure" me.

We had to use these weird wooden rulers that had this perfect square cross section of 1cm by 1cm and 40 cm in length.

Every time I was caught writing with my left hand I had to put my hand palm up and make my fingers tips touch - the nun would then administer my "medicine" by wacking me on the finger tips with my ruler. A friend of mine once bought such a ruler, but made of aluminum.
Big mistake...

When we moved back to Yugoslavia I went back to writing with my left hand (it was easier/automatic), but the damage was done...

LOL. You basically can't use a pencil as a lefty. Having to use pen on exams sucked as a math major. I liked it so much better when we got take-home exams that I could just write up in LaTeX.

Right hand dominant but I bat in cricket left handed as well as golf. I play tennis right handed except my backhand is a much stronger shot, probs due to me being used to the grip and motion of hitting left handed in cricket.
