Video: James Madison Impersonator

James Madison - Part 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rReS6uA-C_A&feature=related

The above is part 1 of a video of a James Madison Impersonator (JMI) shot in July, 2008.

The JMI is about the same height and weight of James Madison and bears a striking resemblance to him. The JMI was born ...in 1951, and hence, is exactly 200 years younger than James Madison. The JMI is a professional; he makes his living by traveling around the nation and appearing as James Madison to groups, colleges, etc.

The JMI prepares for his character by reading the vast correspondence to and from James Madison each day from exactly 200 years prior. The JMI reads the newspaper each day from exactly 200 years prior, just as James Madison would have done.

So, for example, today he is reading all the newspapers from January 7, 1810.

The JMI impersonator was once asked about the War of 1812.

He replied; "That hasn't happened yet."

Since the video hear was shot in July, 2008, the JMI is speaking about what was going on in July, 1808. At that time, it was just prior to the election that would make James Madison the Fourth President of the United States. At that time, James Madison was the Secretary of State under President Thomas Jefferson.

Please enjoy the videos.

They didn't make it illegal until long after he died.

Madison died in 1836, and slavery was legal until 1865.

Madison helped end the slave trade for good in 1808, and trade that had been on in America for 300 years.

James Madison never freed any of his slaves. He had every opportunity to do so, but did not.

Madison never had any children so it's within the realm of possibility that he died a virgin, as this guy is destined to do.

He had the hottest looking wife on the east coast; Dolley Madison.

He banged the shit out of her.

Obey the law.

You never freed any slaves either.

In 1808, Madison was busy founding the United States of America, and protecting us from hostlie enemies, like the British Empire, Napolean, the Spanish Empire, Barabry Pirates, and savage Indians.

His mom was home at the plantation, and Madison did not come home until 1817, when he retired as President, so he was too busy to free slaves that belonged to his mom. His mom lived until 1829, and by that time, Madison was too old to free any slaves.

By that time, Madison was too old to free any slaves. There is no age limit for freeing slaves.

James Madison never freed any of his slaves.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights needed to be established, interpretted and made secure by enlightened leaders before we could be sure it would prevail.

Madison did that, and his slaves deserve to he honored as equals to the other Founding Fathers in importance.

Madison's mom needed the slaves. James was busy in Washington most of his life.

James offered to free his slaves and move to Liberia, but they weren't interested, they liked James too much and didn't want to leave him. He kept them safe and secure from all the racists running around.
