All our wins to -500 teams meaningless right now. Does anyone have an idea y we cant beat better teams in NBA? and can we truly beat the lakers at this point playing like this?

Give credit to Dallas, after we went on a 15 to 0 run they came back and won this game. We lost it period. Paker and manu no where to be found on the 4th courter and dirk killed us.

I don't know about other games but the foul situation seemed to screw up the normal rotation. Top that off with the defensive strategy of switching on every Dirk pic'n'roll which ended up in a mismatch (and then a couple of threes) and we let them have a big lead late in the game. Why not let them play Dirk straight up? Hell even Bogans had played him well one on one. Why the strategy change?

I'd also like to complain about the first 3 possesions (I think) of the 4th. correct me if I'm wrong but I could have sworn we made 3 trips down to the offensive end and barely grazed the rim with 3 jumpers. What happened to that offense we were running?

true. thats why i dont believe in that save it for after the all-star break. The NBA isnt the same as before. Back then, the Spurs could lose a game but still stay the same seed. Now, a loss brings you one or two seeds down. And there is a lot more competition. Im not saying play 110% every game but at least show some passion. These guys are playing like they're waiting for the all-star break to show up.

That is what happens when you design a team(Mavs) to just beat another team(Spurs), and their fans will live with that fact, even if the Lakers won it last year. Mavs are still living back in the year 2007, and they were handed their asses by the Lakers and lost by 35 to them before they played the Spurs, which brings us back to 2010. Maybe in 3 more years when the Lakers are not relevant, Dallas will build a team to beat the Lakers. Makes me wonder if the Lakers are flying under the radar. :lmao

With regards to the Spurs choke tonight, hopefully they will get very pissed off and show up for 48 minutes against the Lakers.

Unless the Spurs are playing like they Can and gel, then I will have no problem with it! As of now and how they are playing though? I don't want to meet them right now as it could go 7 with them winning :( IF SA can play great ball and get it together we can see almost anyone, but as of now it's not pretty and it wil be brutal to see the Mavs or LA etc.

The thing is, if you look at other rosters, our one is way better, more fire power, but it seems like we stop taking ball to the basket and become a jump sooting team. heck, we're the #3 point shooting in NBA. In the past, we took the ball to the basket, we need to start doing that again.
