Aren't the Jets playing the Colts next week?

Since the Patriots lost, doesn't that mean the Jets play the Colts?

Since Baltimore won, they remain the lowest seeded team, which must play the best team, in this case the colts.

NFL re-seeds the bracket after the wildcard games. It's not a set bracket like the NBA. Jets are #5, Ravens #6, so lowest remaining seed goes to Indy, highest to San Diego.

Ah. I could have sworn Bob Costas said the opposite. My mistake for listening to him. ;)

Not talking smack dumbass just being realistic. The only reason the Jets are in is because the Colts gave up the perfect season.

The only reason the Jets are in is because the Colts gave up the perfect season.

The only reason the Cards were in last year was due to an incredibly weak division. Sometimes teams get lucky limping into the playoffs when they are dangerous. A team with the #1 defense in the NFL and #1 rush offense isn't a team you want to run into in the playoffs.

especially when the head coach motivates his team by eating the weakest player of each game

That strategy is boom or bust. It didn't work very well for Charlie Weis.

Chargers need a head coach, a kicker, and a running game or this will be the same result next season. All of those caught up to them today. Kaeding is a great regular season kicker but it has been proven that he is nothing but a weak minded choker in the postseason. Norv Turner is too damn conservative. That really hurt them today. On top of that, Rivers can't continue to carry the offense. He needs a running game in the worst way to give that offense balance.

Amazing that after 5 years of Kaeding's epic performance against the Jets, they've kept him. They're back to square one now :lmao
