lol Armstrong is one of the biggest 1st round draft pick flops of the last 5 years. Part of the blame is on Byron Scott for his downright refusal to play the kid, but then again ... I'm not sure why the Kings made this move? He's not going to get the minutes ahead of Hawes and Thompson. I have a hard time believing he'd get minutes ahead of Kenny Thomas even. Unless they're looking to trade him.

IDK why they did it either. Hilton isn't worth the league minimum, and he makes $2.8 mill/yr. IDK why any team would pick up that contract( even if Isiah was still a GM).

Because the Hornets sent them $3 millions in cash. Considering that the Kings will only have to pay a bit less than $2 millions to Hilton (the remaining part of his salary for this year), they pocket about $1 millions.

I also think they could have got something a little better (like a 2nd round pick), but they probably think there's a chance Armstrong may help them.
