well my art teacher asked me to buy mat board
and i go ask in micheals and tell them
they have no idea what it is
then i describe them what it is
and lead me to the foam board
im using it for color pencil artwork

Mat board is the stuff you put around a picture when you frame it. It is stiff. I know Hobby Lobby will sell you a full sized board.

Foam board has a layer of foam in the middle.
