Kobe is acting like he is still in his mid-20's.

I mean the guy is less than a year younger than Manu. The man needs some rest if he expects to keep his high level of play for a few more years.

why? sitting on top of the west and still wanting to play? Kobe's not going to prove anything if he opts to play against Dallas. If his injury gets aggravated, he's just going to hurt his team even more. Kobe really does a lot of thinking with his balls and it's just unbelievable.

:rolleyes what ever you say.

BTW, U know MiamisHit? the 43 years american guy who eats in his parents basement? Pls tell him Kobe's 7/10 against spurs, he'd shock to hell :toast

Same back problem happened during playoff games against Jazz (08?) He'll be fine.

Should be even be playing? He could hardly get up and down the court in the 3rd quarter.

In 08 he was 29, now he's 31, turning 32. It's not the same. I just think that as he ages, he needs to manage his minutes more. There's no way he's going to turn back the clock and be 18 again.

Thx.

Indeed I wish he could rest out a few games, but I do think he'll be fine.

On a related note, Damper is likely out again. Bynum will have another field day.

Dampier is a big loss for the Mavs... they just dont have anything or anyone similar who can stop easy inside buckets..

the reason why his playing is, because if you sit out games ur chances of winning mvp decreases depending on how ur team does during the stretch you sit out....

so if he plays and lose the game, he blames it on his finger injury

but if he wins games, the media treats him like a hero, fuck him and the media nuttriders

the Lakers should only lose by 10 now

oh come on. Kobe left the Spurs game cause he knew it couldn't be won. He rather fake a "misterious back injury" than give the Spurs the joy of wiping his ass thorughout.

Kobe had to leave because the Spurs were ramming their cock too far up his ass. He will be back for the Mavs tonight and the soft Lakers will lose

I really beleive this is true. I mean, probably his back was bothering him a little but he would not have left the game had the lakers been leading by 20

Well I hate Kobe just as much as the next fuck but I can't wait for him to bust his load all over the Mavs again. Maybe we should have a vBookie for the point spread on Kobe outscoring the Mavs squad again.

Exactly. He played until less than a minute left to play in the 3rd quarter. And, now he's playing tonight. GMAB... He can't be that hurt. :rolleyes

Of course he's playing, the man played 32 of a possible 36 minutes out there last night...if there were something even remotely serious about the 'injury' he wouldnt have been out there much less played that much, Phil aint stupid enough to throw away the season by aggravating that supposed injury.

Bottom line is the injury is getting overhyped just like anything Lakers or Kobe related always does. Coincedence that he left right after committing an embarrasing turnover and while his team was getting brutally raped? Of course not, he wouldve been out there trying to play warrior hero if the game was close. Or been laughing his faggot ass off on the bench if the Lakers were on the opposite end of the blowout.

That's bull... I truly believe Kobe would've played if he could. There would be no shame in a loss to the Spurs without one of their top players in Gasol.

I actually liked our chances against the Lakers given circumstances (home game, b2b, Gasol out, and revenge opportunity) but with Dampier out Bynum's gonna be tough... meh. Go mavs

If the Spews can beat the Lakers, the Mavs should win especially with the Lakers playing last night. Mavs 102 Lakers 86

BINGO

Kobe is an unbelievable douche and insecure guy. Why risk playing when you're not healthy? So that you can prove you're better than Jordan?

:lol

This idiot never gets it. He better stops copying MJ. if he's already shooting 30% with a good back, how worst it would be with a bad one? :lol

That's exactly what a player is s'posed to do after a legitimate injury (I'm taking your post as sarcastic). I would be pissed, if I were a Lakers fan, and seeing Kobe more concerned with pride than longevity (assuming his back spasms last night were real). It's not like your club is desperately fighting for play-off contention, you're still in a comfortable position. But shit, I'm a Spurs fan so please by all means Kobe, make your 30-something year old ass play through every injury for all of the regular season. So then, Lakers fan, I guess you and Spurs fan have something in common.
