The contest for who gets the next shot at B.J. Penn became crystal clear on Tuesday. Frankie “The Answer” Edgar, not Gray Maynard, will get the next shot at the UFC lightweight belt, presumably at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi on April 10.Considering Edgar's only recorded loss is to Gray Maynard, and both have mostly decision wins...what made Edgar the best possible opponent to knock BJ Penn off? That's how I always think of #1 contenders (the person most likely to put up a good fight with the champion).
I guess after BJ obliterates Edgar, he'll be known as the greatest lightweight ever and can move up to welterweight only to have all of his bones broken against GSP if they aren't broken by other welterweight contenders. /end rant :ihit
