You guys will even up the series tonight. I don't think you'll blow the Nuggets out though.

Six to eight point win for the Spurs. Then I think we beat you at The Pepsi Center in game three. That sets up what I predicted at the start of the series would be the critical game.

Wow, even Denver fans are saying we'll win tonight?!?

Now I'm getting nervous...

Lots of bad things happened to me last night. I dented my car up bad getting to HEB to get by Silver Band. Which broke the moment I tried to slip it on my wrist. Then I got my fingers stuck in the window as I was putting up my car Spurs flag.

I have two theories:

1. I'm a jynx, and need to leave SA before my bad luck spreads.

2. I'm a bad luck magnet, and therefore the Spurs will have Good Luck because all the bad luck is going to me.

I hope it's the latter, 'cause there's no way I'm missing the game tonight....

The Spurs have a history of taking lightly games we all JUST KNOW they can't lose - regardless of how important that game is.

Tonite has that feeling to me; that somehow the Spurs will come out w/a lack of focus. They are also still a mess rotation-wise. I'm afraid it might take another loss to wake this squad up. Hope I'm wrong (but I don't think 0-2 is insurmountable in this case).

Spurs will win the series.

Spurs win by 15 tonight, then will use that momentum to win Game 3 at Pepsi Center. Still could be a 7 game series, but I see it going 6. Spurs found out they have to actually come out and play if they want to win this series. This reminds me a lot of the Phoenix series in 2003.

Toothless offensive?......actually they averaged several points more then they had last year.....if they had won you would probably be singing a different tune.

I predict that the Spurs will win by 18 and be on the look out for a fight to break out. I don't know who it will be but somebody is going to get tired of the physical play and take matters into their own hands...just hope its not any of the starters.

If a fight were to break out, it would most likely involve Nazi or Big Dawg.

Spurs by 11, we dominate the game all the way and Denver sneeks in some easy baskets at the end to make it look closer.

Duncan and Parker each with 20+
Ginobilli hits 8+ FT's
Barry knocks down 4 shots from behind the arc.
Nazr with another solid 12 & 12 effort.

CosmicCowboy

I think Spurs are gonna win by 15 tonight behind big games by Parker, Manu and Tim...combined with Bowen harrassing Carmelo...

BUT...I still have a huge concern about this team...what happened to the crisp *snap*snap*snap* ball rotation of two months ago?...it wasn't just Tim spraining his ankle because that second quarter of the Detroit game (after Tim went down) was some of the prettiest rotation/passing/cutting/shooting I have ever seen out of a Spurs team...what the hell happened to that? where did it go?

GhostofAlfrederickHughes
04-27-2005, 01:26 PM
SPURS by double digits. They'll open up a good lead at the half, Denver will make a run in the 3rd to get back in it. Doug Collins will start his usual blabber about the Spurs not being ready for crunch time. Kevin Harlan will call every Nuggets dunk like it was the most amazing thing he's ever seen in his life, while projecting boredom every time Manu makes slashing move to the hoop. In the fourth, Barry and Manu will toss in a couple of clutch treys to help the Spurs pull away.

Rest of the series goes like this:

Nuggets win game 3.
Spurs win Games 4, 5, and 6.

Jimcs50
04-27-2005, 01:32 PM
Spurs will win by over 20 and be up around 30 at one point tonight.

They will send Denver back home with their tails betw their legs, having been knocked back down to earth.
