Nice little piece on Blair from his hometown paper.

One of the best articles I've read in a while, good find..although the "Mr and Ms" stuff got annoying after a while..

Blair seems like a great guy, took care of his family right when he got paid, which is always the best thing to do, family comes first..he also seems to really admire Duncan and Parker which is great..

One of the few bright spots we've had this season..

Eh, I found it refreshing, but thats just me.

Yeah the only reason I was tipped to it was by Dejuan's twitter page :lol

So I can't take 100% credit.

Yeah, the Mr. and Ms. went a little overkill, but I enjoyed the piece overall..

The guy's got a hell of a future if those knees hold up; the guy won't be 21 until next spring..

Mr. Blair, 20, is currently the starting power forward for the San Antonio Spurs

Shhh....All-Star game voting is just about over.

:lol he is renting Parker's old home or something? I know TP built a new one.

Anyway, nice article!

Great stuff. We all knew that the Spurs stars were supportive and nurturing toward rookies and other young players that come into the system, but it's great to hear the individual stories. It would be a lot of fun to go to a dinner with DeJuan, Tony, and Eva.

Funny that he looks up to Parker. TP is completely blind to him on the PnR. He ignored him when he was wide open in the lane at least 3 times last night when the Spurs were struggling for points. Thank God Pop pulled Parker for the last few minutes.

He's lucky, he got drafted by a wonderful team, he is doing great, everybody loves him, he has 2 awesome mentors, he lives in Tony's and Eva's house and Eva cooks for him, damn, I wish I was in his place :lol

Uh, he lives in and rents Tony's OLD house, not the new custom one he had built for himself and Eva. Ms. Longoria-Parker ain't cooking his meals.

When the Memphis Grizzlies selected Pitt's Sam Young with the 36th pick in June's draft, the Spurs' front office celebrated in its draft war room. Without a first-round selection, the Spurs had targeted Mr. Blair and were elated when he fell to the second round.

McDonald's article a couple days is not clear whether Spurs would select Sam Young over Blair. I guess this confirm Spurs would still pick Blair even if both are on board at 37.

McDonald is an idiot. He's wrong WAY more than he's right.

Very good piece. Fantastic access into a great story :tu

While his knees are sore

Ugh. Sucks to think. Hopefully he at least gets a few good years of run.

Great Article.

Especially the Tim part, if he can teach him some of his post moves or his bank shot, he'll be an even better player.

I seriously doubt that she's cooking her own either. :lol

Yeah I know his old house, and he said when he visits, Eva cooks. So still

Well, apparently she cooks alot. Plus, she's always talking about food and what she made and make pics of it.

Good read, Blair is out-earning his contract already. It was cool to get insight into his life. Great kid, hope he is a Spur for a long time.

Eva's Mexican, of course she can cook. (I'm not being racist so don't bother calling me racist because I'm also Mexican.)

Nice little piece on Blair from his hometown paper.

Great write-up. Thanks for finding it, Eric. Blair is a special person and player and once again we find a rookie that fits with our longstanding good guy image. Now if some of his enthusiasm can rub off onto a few of our players we might have a chance. Not to be specific but, RJ & Dice, you know whom I am talking about. It is past time for you two money grabbers to start giving a little effort. Not so much that it might tire you two but, damn, show us something! Spend time watching Blair and Timmy. At least that is doing something!
