They aren't even running the clock though. All they do is 1 yard run, 1 yard pass, incomplete on 3rd and 8.

Yeah, I guess you run more clock driving it up the field then you do going three-and-out, even if you don't come away with points.

I want to blame Wade because i hate him, but this is one of those games when Romo (as a leader) is supposed to bring his uber-sick A+ game. The defense came to play, Felix came to play and Tony Romo shit the bed. You can try to blame it on the O-line, but they aren't the ones who gave Tony the dropsies. And they certainly didn't toss a perfect 5-yard spiral to the Vikings.

I agree about the ceiling with Wade. I think he's a good coach, but damn...what happened today? That's just disappointing. Romo turned the ball over because he had no protection..I haven't seen him have to avoid hits this much all season...just ridiculous. He didn't have a phenomenal game, but it was definitely not him choking, it was the O-Line. When Flozell went out, it was pretty much done. But trolls and people who don't know football will blame it on Romo. Not saying you are, but others will. Hell...I'm used to it.

If I were a Vikes fan, I'd be worried about the secondary, but I think the front four will get pressure on Brees. NO will have to get some sort of running game going(or short passing game), otherwise Allen can just pin em' back and go after the QB

Edwards injury is huge.

It's a clear step down when Robison is in the game.

I have a hard time blaming the Cowboys too bad for this one. They just got steamrolled by a better team. The Vikings defense did an excellent job of creating a short field for the offense, who took advantage of it, and they played pretty much mistake-free ball. I'm pretty sick by the loss, but ya gotta hand it to the Vikes.

This was as much a twelfth man win as a matchup nightmare for the Cowboys. That delayed handoff, which has served the Cowboys well this year, was a disaster against that D line. All of those plays that took too long to develop just killed the Cowboys, especially after Flo went out. And Favre threw three or four of the most perfect long passes I've ever seen.

Hopefully the Cowboys can build on this next year without all the drama and questions.

Romo has stepped up all season, and i've never been one to put stuff off on him, but he has to protect the ball knowing that Free can't handle Allen. I think criticism is due.

And how can the cowboys or their fans be mad about "running up the score"? Make the stops and it won't be an issue.

Minnesota just revealed what most football fans already knew. That if you put any kind of pressure on Romo and the Dallas O-line they would crumble like a house of cards and that is just what the Minnesota defense did today. Well done.

I like Jones for the work he does in the draft and what he's been willing to do to bring stars to Dallas. But he has to realize that playing puppet master to Wade is not going to work in the playoffs. The players like Wade so they say they respect him, but like and respect are two very different things. Losing hurts doesn't it cowpig fan? And when someone points out the frailties of your heavily overrated team you resort to personal pot shots. Well, mock all you want. I'm referring to on-field discipline. During the Wade era they have consistently been one of the league leaders in penalties. Just look at their latest game against the Eagles. Yes, they won, but watching that game was like watching an NBA game. There were flags every other play.

The players do what they want out there with no repercussions...they know Wade is a "players" guy. Parcells took over a terrible team, and his first priority was to instill some discipline (see Antonio Bryant). After that, he built the team that Wade won 13 games with.

And again, how many penalties did they have today? How many that hurt them?

I think I heard a stat that 7 of the 8 playoff teams were leading the league in penalties this year. If that's the case, then penalties don't really mean anything in that context, as they aren't game-costing penalties.

Today's game doesn't negate how they have played throughout the season. They all seem to like him, but those players don't respect him. And it's not hard to see that. At one point in the season Wade sent on the field goal team and Romo told them to go back to the sidelines. Then the offense went for it on 4th. The players do as they wish, and Wade is along for the ride.

Don't know. They sure seemed to be playing for him since about Thanksgiving. Again, I'd just as soon they canned his ass, but it's a reach to try to find a reason after the way they finished out this season. Historically , teams will play harder to save a soft coach in order to avoid a change, but I have a hard time believing the current Cowboys players have any interest in that. In fact, if Wade has any chance of going away before next season, it'll be due to the team telling Jerry it needs to be done.
