Utah has pretty much stuck with their same core for years, not making any major moves to improve their team. San Antonio's overhaul this summer (regardless of results) proves they certainly care about improving the team and maximizing the remaining time in Duncan's career. Winning a championship was the goal when they delved into the luxery tax.

While they may again have a first round exit (time will tell), saying they are "just happy to get to the playoffs and not really caring" is a false statement.
