There shouldn't be any "lol Lakers" types of threads here tonight. This game wasn't a big deal for Cleveland, Cleveland just went out and did what they were supposed to do. The Lakers are not a championship caliber team, so Cleveland beating them wasn't a big deal. No trash talking here, nothing personal against the Lakers, they're just not that good. Kobe's shooting: 12-for-31 from the floor, sounds about right. Nothing against Kobe, he's just not that good either. Again, the Cavs just beat a team they were supposed to beat, nothing personal. Again, no big surprises here tonight. No "lmao Lakers" threads are needed.

Agreed. This is what we expected from the Lakers: just play well, but not well enough to beat the contenders...
0-2 vs Cleveland
0-1 vs Spurs

Lakers suck A$$.
I've been telling you guys since summer this is a mythical "stacked" Lakers team but nobody believed me.
This is a bunch of career-underachievers who are actually over-achieving having the record they have.

The numbers back up the record though. The Lakers have the best record, the best point differential, the #1 FG% defense in the league and the #1 3PT FG% defense. That's not mythical. They are playing better defense this year than in their championship season last year. And in the the playoffs, defense wins.

I'm talking about regular season...
In the Playoffs, Kobe will bring home his 5th and the Lakers will over-achieve once again.

I thought you were a fan of the Spurs?:lmao:lmao
all teams seem to be underachieving. the lakers are the most talented team in the league and probably the most talented team in the last 3-4 years. they should be cruising instead of being swept by lebron. spurs are underachieving, nuggets look slightly worse, magic sucks, and boston is underachieving as well. maybe the entire league has gotten better so there's more parity.

I'm a realist as you should be. No one can honestly say the Spurs are a championship contender right now when they are 3-11 against Western Conference playoff teams. That's an abysmal record.
