Is it just me, or when other teams up their intensity level, the Spurs inexplicably wilt and succumb to it at both ends of the court.

I see two Spurs teams out there on the court virtually every night. One that looks like a well oiled machine, and the other that makes me feel like I want to win more than they do.

your not the only one. I agree. This team looks like fighter on UFC that gets knocked down with a punch and his opponent repeatedly is punching and punching him. Except with the spurs there is no ref to stop the fight to save them. So sad and humiliating. There is no desire anymore. It's like the Spurs are just happy with 4 ships and that's it.
