Murray def. Isner 7-6 / 6-3 / 6-2
In another site I predicted the score of the match to be 7-6 / 6-3 / 6-4, I think I missed a pretty cool prize by just a couple of games :jack

Well Done
I've seen all DelPo matches this tournament, he was clearly not playing at the level is used to play, specially on the forehand side, he wasn't putting as much pace as he usually does, I think the wrist problems really hurt him during this tournament, besides the first three matches he played were all tough and pyshically demanding, so I expected him to run out of gas, which is exactly what happened. Add to all that that Cilic is playing like a top 8 guy right now and you get the "upset".

Yea Del Potro withdrew from a warm up tournament the week before, and after going 10-8 in the fifth against Blake i thought something wasnt right. Still a big win for Cilic, i think this might be his year, in terms of establishing himself in the top 10, maybe even make the Big 5 a Big 6. He's got that amazing raw talent that Del Potro has.

They are like a copy of each other: similar bodies, styles of play, strenghts and weaknesses and they were born with only 5 days of difference, creepy.

I've never been a fan of tennis, but during the opening rounds I watched Federer play and became a fan of the sport and him. I didn't know anything about the game at all, but I picked up a lot from watching Federer, Delpo, Cilic, and Henin. The mental toughness needed is amazing to me and I have a newfound respect for those players.
Tsonga did a good job getting to the SF, but I think Federer will get him in 4. I don't like Murray since he knocked out Cilic, so I hope Federer makes it to the finals to beat his ass down in 4 as well.

it's cool that this past decade we got to see the greatest tennis player of all time and the greatest golfer of all time.
the 2 sports will probably never be dominated like that again, I hope Woods comes back and wins a bunch more Majors, and I hope Federer can win a few more Slams, but there's a lot of young talent poised to take over

Federer was a man on a mission, and I hope he continues to show the youngsters how to get it done as an elder statesman...even though 28 is still pretty young outside of tennis lol

Cross-posting from a different forum, which puts into perspective how dominant a player Federer currently is:
----------------------
Pete Sampras won 14/52 slams for ~27%.
Roger Federer has won 16/43 for ~37%.
Federer would have to lose the next ~14 slams IN A ROW just to tie Sampras's win % in slams.
