TOP 10

(Last rank in parentheses; through Friday’s games)

1. Cavaliers (3): No Mo, no problem. As long as they’ve got LeBron, they can beat Lakers. Season sweep complete.

2. Lakers (1): Zenmeister frets about Bynum’s drop with Pau back. Pau to Bynum: “Just go to the post and do your move.”

3. Nuggets (2): Melo’s an All-Star starter, but is he their MVP? Karl about to stump hard for Billups as All-Star reserve.

4. Hawks (5): Tough stretch of schedule awaits: five straight vs. above-.500 teams, four of those on the road.

5. Mavericks (4): Mavs use Amtrak for trip from Washington to Philly. Was Mendy Rudolph’s Ghost the conductor?

6. Celtics (6): Garnett’s back, but they still needed OT to get home win over Blazers. Says Rivers: “Point finger at me.”

7. Trail Blazers (7): Fernandez returns from injured list, and Batum is due this week, but Brandon Roy’s hammy still ailing.

10. Hornets (17): Barring another money dump at trade deadline, they’re poised for a good second half.
