And then Pop sat him right back down. I feel sorry for Mahinmi lol. The dude was excited to be out there, and you could tell he was all dejected when he went back to the bench. Pop is brutal.

In all seriousness I would have liked to see some Ian out there when Bonner was getting lit up in the post and trying to build a cement building with his bricks.

Be at peace Ian, your Spurs funeral will soon be over.

When Tony went out, he had been fouled. Since he couldn't shoot his FTs, the opposing coach gets to select a bench player, usually the worst one, to shoot for him. Ian missed them both, and the ball was live after the second miss. He played 1:54, until the next dead ball.

Spurs fans have found Pop's replacement now that they've found a coach who will play Mahinmi.

Pop used a 10 man rotation tonight, what do you think? I liked it, aside from Pop not subbing out Bonner who almost blew the game. He could have put in Ian there for 7-8 mins for him while the spurs defense was getting worked.

The 8 man rotation would put too much stress on our vets don't u think?

I was thinking about hat when Ian was making those FT - if Pop will bench him right away or gives him a chance thinking wll maybe he is suppose to be on the court maybe he was chosen by ome bigger force to play.

But no - he clanged two FT and have a spank to Timmy!

Bonner needs the reps so he can get his shot back.

Still better than Bonner clanging 4 threes in a row and seeing a 20 point lead shaved to 9

Pop used a 10 man rotation tonight, what do you think? It was still basically the same eight man rotation. Bogans got minutes due to Hill's foul trouble and Bonner got minutes because the Hawks went small. The eight-man rotation with situational use of the other four players is what I've wanted from Pop.

An 8-man rotation where everyone places a 25+ minutes doesn't stress the vets. Everyone can play 25-33 minutes -- which provides plenty of rest.

Ahh, okay I see what you mean now. "Situational use" of the other guys. Good call.

I think we could have gotten some "situational use" out of Bogans in the bulls game too either with guarding Heinrich or Rose.

I hope Pop isn't just going to dip into the bench for guys having foul problems.
