It's because he's white. :p: The two MVP seasons he had were well surpassed by CP3 the last two seasons. :toast
Actually, the Suns had a very hot start and there was alot of negativity when viewing the Hornets with the slow start, Scott getting fired, and everyone frowning on ownership. Noticing Steve Nash was in vogue while CP3 was an afterthought.

Well, I'm not sure. Paul would deserve to start, that's not a question. The numbers you put there could be seen in a different perspective though. If you take it per 36 minutes, the numbers look not that clear to make a push for Paul. Maybe that's the reason for some fans to prefer Nash. Well, it's just a guess.
Per 36 minutes (including Paul's game from yesterday):
Chris Paul:
19.1 PPG
10.4 APG
2.1 SPG
4.3 RBG
.505 FG%
.411 3P%

Steve Nash:

Appease the white fans? If that's the case, then why wasn't Nash on the allstar team in Phoenix last year? Why can't you admit that he deserves to be an allstar? You can argue whether Nash or Paul deserved the start but you can't say Nash shouldn't have made the team.

Then we can tape up your index finiger and do the same for another $1,000.00 and 35% shooting
and now at that point with the 2 grand in my pocket ill give 5 to 1 odds you cannot shoot 45% with 50, 60,... 100 shots. (whatever your green light allows you)

.945 FT%
I wont chek if the stats are right, Iīll trust you because Iīm a little lazy right now.
Ok. I canīt follow you. The stats are very similar.
- 20 PPG against 18.5 PPG is almost equal if you thinks that Nash has Amare that is always the top scorer.
- 11.2 against 11.0 deserves an NBA leading remark? Cīmon! Almost the same.
- 2.3 vs. 0.5 in steal itīs te first reasonably "difference" remark.
- 4.6 vs. 3.1 is not a big difference if you think on Nash body size.
- And this:
.500 FG%
.417 3P%
.853 FT%
vs.
.523 FG%
.433 3P%
.945 FT%
Nash is winning in every percentage. And a big difference in FT (is he leading?).
Plus tha intangible Nash brings: more "name", is white, etc. Well, here you have all the explanation you were asking for :wakeup

Apparently not enough New Orleans residents are voting for CP3.
Spurstalk are actively canvassing votes for Tim Duncan. The results show at the last few days surge of votes for Tim.

No it isn't. Mcgrady starting the All Star game would have been a joke. Nash over Paul is not a joke. The stats are almost identical and the teams records are almost identical. Factor in the Hornets sucked major ass the first month or so and the Suns were great the first month or so and there you go. Stop being a butthurt homer, shits just irritating.
Or that Paul missed like 7 games early in the season and his team is underachieving. Fans got it right.

I wanted to respond to this earlier, but I've been busy and simply did not have the time. While you're probably sick of hearing about BRHornet45, it is crucial that you read this letter. When writing this letter, I had originally intended to segregate the pure errors of fact in BRHornet45's comments from the assertions of questionable judgment where there could be room for dispute. I eventually decided against that approach because if I didn't think BRHornet45 would create new (and reinforce existing) prejudices and misconceptions, I wouldn't say that the objection may still be raised that he knows 100% of everything 100% of the time. At first glance this sounds almost believable yet the following must be borne in mind: He says that he has the authority to issue licenses for practicing sectarianism. That's a stupid thing to say. It's like saying that the worst classes of capricious, callous New Age blatherskites I've ever seen are more deserving of honor than our nation's war heroes.
What I wrote just a moment ago is not the paranoid rambling of a power-drunk wacko. It's a fact. Calling BRHornet45 an unstable, loquacious segregationist may be accurate, but with BRHornet45's stated his most recent derogatory attack against white people, I concluded that he was thoroughly lawless. Now that he claims that the rest of us are an inferior group of people, fit only to be enslaved, beaten, and butchered at the whim of our betters, I suspect that he's crossed the line into post-rationalist neo-Hegelianism. To say merely that wily, raving flimflammers have no business here is an understatement.
For one thing, BRHornet45 can push me only so far and no farther. But more importantly, BRHornet45 does not appeal to most people as being the most endearing or public-minded of citizens. Maybe his image would improve somewhat if he stopped trying to lay the foundation for some serious mischief. You shouldn't let him intimidate you. You shouldn't let him push you around. We're the ones who are right, not BRHornet45. In a nutshell, I do not intend this letter to be in any way misinterpreted as a personal attack on BRHornet45.

Paul's scoring average is misleading cuz he missed 11 games, if he had played those games he probably would have a higher scoring average!

Kobe is MAYBE an allstar reserve and that's about it. Anyone can put up his numbers when given the green light. Nash is simply in the game just to appease the white fans of the NBA.
I hate don't like kobe at all but damnnnnnn son you gotta respect the man ive found someone else to bash now :lol
