The British Lions are not easy to find in record stores or Torrent sites. You may want to PM Imposter he has a Terabyte of old rare music from the 70s. If you look in the Sundays paper they did a story on an old rock band and they showed my old boss and where i used to work check out how young and skinny the members of Rush were.

here is a link I hope it helps.

did you ever toke on this music?
Fantastic, yet never a commercial success.
Captain Beyond, their 1st album.

also released in this LP jacket:
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Vc3H5q9pmgg/SOARDd4FbSI/AAAAAAAAAf4/elrgGerxU_g/s400/Captain+Beyond.jpg
Larry "Rhino" Reinhardt lead guit ex Iron Butterfly
Lee Dorman Bass also ex Iron Butterfly
Rod Evans vocals Deep Purple
Bobby Caldwell drums

The original line-up for Captain Beyond were singer Rod Evans, drummer Bobby Caldwell, guitarist Larry "Rhino" Reinhardt, bassist Lee Dorman and keyboards Lewie Gold. Evans was the original lead singer for Deep Purple and probably best known for his vocals on their 1968 debut chart-breaker "Hush". Reinhardt and Dorman had played in Iron Butterfly; Dorman, in particular, played on Iron Butterfly's early albums, including their 1968 breakthrough In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. Caldwell had come to prominence playing with Rick Derringer and Johnny Winter. Lewie Gold was a well-respected keyboardist from Florida. He left due to personal reasons before the first album was recorded. This line-up recorded the self-titled debut album, released in 1972.
