I vaguely remember us having a conversation about the Perry empire a while back. It ended up being a draw since it was shown that the do get ratings, it's just that we aren't watching it.

I don't watch any network sitcoms at all. Network television is pretty bad. I've seen a few episodes of Two and a Half Men from their earlier seasons and I think it's pretty funny actually. I don't watch How I Met Your Mother or any of the NBC shows. I don't think I've ever watched a full episode of The Office. Shrugs. TV has gone to shit anyway with the influx of reality shows and expansion of cable. There isn't one show, sitcom or drama or reality, that if I left the country for a year I'd be pissed about missing. Not one. I'd be more upset about missing the playoffs of the NBA and NFL, but not any TV show.

Other than that the only things on tv worth watching are various sports, a couple of discovery channel shows, and the random history/travel channel/A&E shows that cover a cool topic. For example the sniper shows on history channel.
