Barring something unforeseen, it looks like George Karl, unequivocally one of the best at his craft, will be on the open market.

A well-informed NBA lifer said "It’s slim to none’’ Karl will return to the Denver Nuggets who, at last check, had the second-best record in the wild, wild West.

I had heard the Nuggets were holding out on his contrfact extension so he got pissed.

It's pretty great timing for Karl to jump ship for another long-term lucrative contract.

I dont know if he's given some bad eggs or the players don't respect him.

I'm not sure everyone agrees with him being "unequivocally one of the best at his craft," not even actual NBA people.

He sucks... but he definitely should quit while he's ahead and can still land another decent contract... I though he underachieved with a star like Carmelo...
