...thanks to Andre Miller shooting a 52 point load right in the Mavs face. Looks like those three losses aren't going to hurt so bad after all. Hang in there fellas.

Carlisle pulling the Pop soft card. :lol

“We got very soft defensively as a team,” Carlisle said. “We were a tough-minded team the first quarter of the year and it’s gone by the wayside.”

Andre Miller shitting on the Mavs and on his career high lol. Goddamn Dallas, that's soft D.

And goddamn I wish we'd taken at least 1 or 2 of those 3 games. Could've been on the top of the division and had a chance at the second seed tomorrow (or today I guess just got home, 4:30am here :lol)

It doesn't matter if there are no changes and the spurs go into the playoffs with the roster as it is.

They still need to add another strong rotation frontline player and if they don't do that this looking at regular season wins and losses is a waste of time because in the end the spurs will not be winning with a thin frontline.

The loss column is misleading. Dallas has played 8 more road games than the Spurs. Road win/home loss differential is +8 for Dallas and -1 for the Spurs.

The real Western Conference Standings:
1. Lakers +10
2. Dallas +8
3. Denver +7
4. New Orleans +5
5-8. Houston, Utah, Portland, Phoenix +3
9-10. Memphis, OKC +2
11. Spurs -1

OK Hollinger....your "real" standings are crap. Right now the Spurs have more wins than Memphis, New Orleans, Portland, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, and Houston, thats all that matters. Winning is winning, on the road or at home...it doesnt make a difference.

No, the schedule matters. Who the wins were actually garnered against and who the Spurs have left remaining to play and where they play them are what matters. If the Spurs managed only 25 wins in the first half of the season against weak oppositions playing mostly at home, then they damn sure aren't going to get another 25 wins in the second half of the season playing tougher opponents mostly on the road.

Only an idiot would not take into account the schedule. You think a win at home against New Jersey = a win on the road against Cleveland?
