Lead clippers 43-20......There's no reason that he shouldn't end up with 60+

There's a very good reason, he won't have to.

Get this game won, give LBJ and Shaq the fourth quarter off, and keep going.

I wish they would let Lebron try and break records, but they won't. Their defense is too good. Kobe scored a ton, but they needed all of his points.

Meh. If LeBron bring a title to this city it'll be worth a hundred records.

Besides, when he's in range of a triple-double they definitely let him go for it. I can't even count the number of blowout games where LeBron has stayed in to get that 10th assist or rebound.

Just compare LeBron's game yesterday to what Bryant would have done.

Bron scores 23 in the first quarter, then finishes with what, 32? That would never, ever happen with Bryant. Bryant would shoot another 30 times to make sure he ends up with 50 that night.

Well, Bron also had a bunch of assists last night. That would also never, ever happen with Bryant.

Bron is a team guy. Bryant is a me guy. totally different DNA.

Who has 4 rings?

Who has 0 rings?

I think I'll go with the guy that has 4 rings.

Using titles as the benchmark when comparing two individual players is retarded. Not surprisingly, this is all Laker fans have to hold on to now that LeBron is clearly the best player in the league.

I'll take Robert Horry over Kobe Bryant. More rings.

Well to be honest it's what Spurs fans often use too.

Nah, in blowouts, Kobe usually doesn't even get to his average.

Just look at the most recent blowouts in Indiana and Washington, Kobe only took 15 shots.

Kobe does get sucked into it when playing in big venues like Madison Square Garden. But I think other high scorers like LeBron, Melo, Wade do too.

And for the record, I don't think LeBron runs up the score in blowouts either, he just tries to get to his averages and it's understandable.

Kobe has 1 ring as the number one guy on the team.
