he is averaging nearly 20 ppg right now, i think a team like Mavs could use him. Any expiring contract should get it done. Rip for Jho?

I honestly don't see any team taking Rip's contract anytime soon.

Neither do I. Unfortunately.
Dallas could be a good home for him.
And I do think the Spurs should consider trading Manu for him.
I also believe Utah could upgrade their team by having Rip. Might aswell as get something for Boozer.

I'm convinced Mike Dunleavy is a better GM than Dumars at this point. He's done a lot of stupid shit lately.

Fuck no, what are we gonna do with both Ginobili and Rip on the wing? Not to mention Rip is a volume shooter and we're having trouble giving our stars their shots already, and I'd rather use that deal for a long defensive 3 or a big.
Pass, thanks

No thanks, if Pop doesn't run many plays for RJ then I can't see Rip getting all the screens he normally gets.

Rip needs a good PG. Denver, Phx, NO, Utah, and MAYBE Chicago.

I don't think Hamilton would work at all in the Spurs offense. He'd never get all the screens that have made him such an effective player in Detroit. I think it would be exactly like Glen Rice in LA. The Spurs would force Rip to become a spot-up shooter, and it'd be a disaster.

Rip is not only a terrible fit for the Spurs, but he is playing pretty poorly. He is averaging 3 TO's on 39% FG and 24% from 3 point land.

Much of his poor play has been coming from playing without a true point guard, without consistent screen setters, and without health... He has missed a LOT of games...
With that said, I think he would be a BIG improvement in, say, Boston...

Did Tmac blow your chance to get Rip last year?
