This probably guys in the buy/sell/trade thing but no one checks that crap anyway. So I'm looking for a car, I have $1000 to spend. I know I'm not going to get anything amazing but if any of you guys have a decent, running car that doesn't need a shit load of work done on it and it at least has AC, let me know.

Lee.

I know it does you no good but I've got a '97 Mazda b2400 small p/u with a/c, 73,000 miles, 4 cyl. Problem is, I won't be selling it until Late April, early May. I use it so that I don't have to drive my F-250. Gas is killing me.
If you can wait until April/May, we can talk.

Let me know.

Under $1000, reliable, and A/C usually don't go in the same sentence.

Is it automatic or manual? If I still haven't found a car by then I would definitely consider it, especially since it's 13 years old but only has 73k miles. :wow

Manual 5 speed. She runs great. No issues with engine or trans. She gets about 25-28 mpg right now. These are 73,000 original miles but probably will be at 75,500 come April-May. Not banged up. No major dents. Red color.
I'll be selling it to supplement some more $$ for this Jeep CJ series I am saving for plus like I mentioned, the Ford F-250 I have is only driven on the weekends.

If your still not w/o a vehicle come April-May, we'll talk some more. I'll be asking right at about 1k but will consider slightlyi lower.

Good luck. :toast

Oh man I had one of those sitting in my driveway for a couple of years, until last summer I called my dad and had him come take it away. It was great, a 5-speed manual, and had the BEST a/c of any of my other cars. My dad parked his Suburban and has been driving it every day, he just loves it. I'd definitely wait around for this one if you can Lee :tu

That's a good deal man. When that time rolls around just send me a message and I'll let you know if I still need one and if I do, I'll seriously consider buying it. If you wanted to sell it sooner, I could do maybe 1500-1800, but I know your gas guzzler isn't the best option. But thanks man. :tu

Give it a few more days, you may be able to get a used 2007-2010 Toyota for around that price.

And it may be sooner. In either case, I'll send you a message and we can talk business. I am not planning on selling it on Craigslist or any other posting site so need to worry about that end.

She's a good truck and reliable. Hate to part with it but I really want my '79 Jeep CJ.

Awesome dude, the sooner the better. I mean I would like to get one sooner preferably but if I have to wait awhile longer it's not a big deal because I doubt I would be able to get a truck in this condition for that cheap. :tu

Wow Miami. 450k?
It's good to have a second car just to mess with especially with these crazy gas prices. I travel about 38-40 miles round trip daily and costs me about $15-20 bucks every 10 days or longer if I don't hit any traffic jams.

You got your PT fixed up?

FYI, I am selling my 2005 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner SR5 4-door for $13000. Silver with all the usual features. Poor locks and so on. Running boards, bedliner, towing package, factory chrome rims, and rear-sliding window. Dark after market tinted windows. It has 104K miles. Runs like if she were new.

Again, just FYI

El.

Oh.

El.

Shortly after this exchange yesterday, I got a phone call from my friend. I asked what she would think if a guy tried to impress her by picking her up in a PT Cruiser. Her response, almost exactly:

Ew. I wouldn't care for reasons of status, or anything like that, but I'd be leery. I always think PT Cruiser owners are the type of people who'd find Jay Leno funny.
True story.

I don't know that I'd think the person was creepy or strange or anything, what I find strange is that he only uses it for special occasions, as if.....
